Well I would say since most of the commentary leans towards the fact that Hezzy started the war, and the FACT that Hezzy stated in chat that he proposed it, albeit he didn't fight it, one could accurately conclude that Hezzy did, in fact start the war. Based on my observations, I would say that the AYES have it, and the one "Nay" is FAIL. Does it matter, though, if Hezzy did or did not start? Not really. The NLUO failed. It is rebuilding, yet there are a select few who want to continue the feud, it would so seem.

This is a personal observation and not in any ways meant to be offensive as I have deep respect for NLUO and non NLUO players. <---disclaimer :P

SweetPea, you continue to amuse me. Readers do not have to believe me. They don't have to, because it is written all over the countless NLUO threads over the past couple of months about who initiated the war. Even NLUO members spoke out against Hezzy's initiating it. Go do your homework, love. You are slipping!

Steve declared war, not King Hezekiah. Talk is talk, actions speak louder than words. King did not shy away from the possibility of conflict, there is a huge chasm that remains between not backing down, and instigating a war.

The facts are clearly stated in the forum. Every player who might be interested has read and/or will read them. But it is pretty much common knowledge that Hezzy did initiate the entire war effort. Why are you so adamantly defending him? As I said, it is a game, he has a right to initiate war. ha ha ha

I am not in a forum war with you, SweetPea. Just stating the obvious on the topic in general and not necessarily in regards to you. Stop trying so hard to "get one up" on me. I'm not interested in playing your games, although sometimes it amuses me to do so.

Well, the info provided speaks for itself, and the replies by both crafty and Lorelei are good examples of why there are so many denominations of Christianity out there.

Facts do matter...

First dec was by Steve and we were told with the premise Hez would pay for the 'Hitman'.

Hydra let this travesty pass without obliterating NLUO immediately (at least the ones brave enough to leave some sort of WP).

Then Wendy dec'd multiple countries, in response Hydra went on a small offensive and dominated. Many of us never got to really fight and we are kinda sad about that.

Then NLUO begged for a cease fire (in other words they begged for Hydra to quit kicking their butts) which Hydra did.

Now Mr. Hez is trying to stir up the whole thing again. So, here is a question, how did the first attempt turn out for you?

However it is correct to say that NLUO didnt 'back down' they were however, 'smacked down'.

But continue on Mr Hez, and when you feel froggy... jump! If you forget about what happened a few short weeks ago, all you need to do is look East(Kel), West(Rick), North(yours truly) and South into the ocean (Our navies) and that might serve as a small reminder!

First of all Serpent, I don't recall being smacked down by anyone. I didn't beg anyone for peace.

Again, decs by Steve went out after an offer was made to King, NOT the other way. King never followed through, nor requested anyone fight.

I'm not sure what happened with Aqua, I think I read he lost a country. Jack won over some c3s but got carpet nuked for his trouble. I guess that is dominating.

I do recall in the last game news thread humbly requesting Super, Gaz, and Jack to meet you all(Scarlet, Josias, Keto, and so on...) at war level 6 or 7 so we could do this. After many posts of crap talk, that thread went DEAD SILENT after that invitation. For about a week. All shit talking stopped immediately. Never got a response.

I don't know if you are placing the NLUO as a whole in whatever category, but I basically stuffed all that "scared talk" so far down Hydra throat I am surprised any of you have vocal cords intact.

That basically ended the thread... I'm wondering why that call was never answered. Is it that they have not changed the game enough for you. With the 20M pop limit, I doubt nukes will be much an issue. Are you guys ready yet or what?

I ignored it because it was a daft request. Why would we need to move up the levels to fight? Your level 4, im 5. We can already fight. If your still offering I'll happily accept?

but we did win, the part where hezy conceded. yea, that was the NLUO, admitting that they couldn't defeat us.

no it wasn't on the battle field that won the day. although, i have no doubt that if the NLUO could have, they would have, and would be bragging about it now.

no, the way the NLUO was defeated, was making it clear to the members, that they were not getting what hez advertised. and when Hez's earliest supporters started to leave, it was the only way that the NLUO could take a loss that would make them concede.

and they did.

i bet it really rubs your fur backwards knowing that it was shave, that fired the winning shot? with all the talking down to him, accusations of treason, and just plain threats. it was his maneuver that gave us the opening that serp exploited to win. it was Shaves manuever with Col Gadaffi, that lead to hez being overbearing toward his own supporters, to keep them in line. which shortly lead to them defecting. and the NLUO loosing!

the act that caused the NLUO to fold, wasn't on the battle field. although, their were many components that where necessary.

essentially, Hydra won, because we gave our members the freedom to follow their own convictions. and the NLUO lost, because they didn't.

comparing that fact. it would make one question, who really escalated this to war? who was really doing the bashing, and being over bearing. And who was just standing up for themselves, saying No.
