Sorry King. But I believe the foundation of NLUO was based on trying to even the playing field between newbies and veteran players. In a sense, that also means controlling the larger empires through means of entangled politics through the rules of the NLUO. Maybe if the vote was based on population I might be a little more interested in voting, after all we are supporting the sim peoples right? Lunatic seems to be a little less controlling, and just a means of getting people closer. I'm not interested in entertaining world government. Maybe something more similar to the United Nations. Or mutual protection for all empires signed.

See what I don't get is that you think you are unique King. I came into this game and pissed off some of the bigger players right away. I have never apologized and never looked back BUT I can guarantee that quite a few players in here have respect for me. Hell T O said he respected what I had built and it caught me in complete surprise that I had no clue what to say in response other then thank you. In this game you can piss on just about anyone you want as long as you do it respectfully. As it stands right now I have 3 people I would be required to answer to for my actions, Kevin Henry, Dubhthaigh, and Laguna (saved the best for last .) I would definately answer to others whom I respect such as Wild, Sam, or Barney if need be due to a long and generally good relationship with them.

the truth is, a "world goverment" is not needed, just a better mentor system.

in this game, their are "asshats" and those people, don't last long...

and their are people who have a difference of opinion,

asshats, create 20 threads, hoping some one will read one of them

people who are disagreeing will argue on one thread

asshats, will try to create a new system that fits their playing style

people who disagree will comprise, and find a way to co-exsist

I agree that terrorist isn't the same in game as out of game. It's like Bush calling Saddam Hussein a terrorist to garner support for war. Hez is doing the same against Stuart and others. As I said in my previous post, calling somebody a terrorist in game is different to personal attacks (or real life) of the same.

Maybe we are just having objections to terminology. Killing innocents to cause fear or submission = good case for immorality. Eradicating enemy combatants by strategy = weak case for immorality. My opinions of course.

You proved to me in chat yesterday that you have either a bad memory, serious misconceptions about me, or Hezekiah is right about you being an asshole. I'm guessing your definition of "asshat" is anybody not on your own side, if that's what you want to call me. I've kept up with it for the last month on the boards. I've only gotten involved recently because I joined LU a few days ago.

I've said all I can say in Hezekiah's defense. If he doesn't want to take the steps toward smoothing things over then take his country and we'll all chance war (depending on Wendy, I suppose), or Hezekiah will continue wasting gold coins on securing it.

PS.. I've looked at the NLUO site up and down and the only reference to Stuart is a small section that says he convinced Bakronesia to quit the org. Am I missing something or is that what the fuss is about?

I am actually curious to see if he can build it to at least the 1st goal of filling 48 seats in his government.. They have now created and Executive Administration within their Elite Party headed by the Chairman od their Party..

I like how it is set up..
Nations with egos would not be able to join because it is set up kinda like simcountry as far as starting of with 6 million simpeople and growing.. You start out in their Masses Party with no power, and that is usually the nations just starting out on simcountry. As the nation grows and the Elections come around, the nation can move up to the next Party, and so on and so so until you reach the Elite Party, and by that time you nation should have at least 25-30 Million people.. I paid close attention to the info on the site.. It actually does work well with the growth of your nation in the game..

The only thing I don't see fair, and this is purely an ego thing, is that the Elite Party is the ruling party.

The only real oposition to the policies is the polling, and war. The Elite Party can not send a full strength NLUO member War.. They have a provision in their policies that are against that.
As far as a single nation to single nation, they would have to vote in their federations for war..

It is pretty cool.. King is not that bad..
He gave me his password to the site to see the policies, and everything because I told him I was tired of his spam, and was going to join with Ok State Guy to stop him, but he told me the situation, and I talked with other NLUO World Government Officials, and King gave me his password, so I read the whole site, and came up with these conclusions.. Take it or leave it, but can we please get back to helping each other better learn and play the game...

The thing is - I know King isn't that bad a guy dude. I just wish he wouldn't try and force feed us all this NLUO stuff through the forums. I have spoken to him on MSN and in private chat on IRC - I know he's not too bad. I don't want to destroy NLUO - I just want him to chill a bit.

1) He hasn't kept to a peace agreement signed 2 months ago with myself. He constantly builds new websites with my name plastered all over them with the tag of terrorist.

2) His still has a fleet in my terratory. I know it isn't a threat - thats why I have ignored it.
