Said that he was against the civil war, and pro sanctions to lessen the level of slavery. He also stated something about how Martin Luther King incited unneccessary riots. I'm a little too young to remember his twisted 90's rants. But eh... it sounds kind of racsist.

But the biggest reasons he's a nut job, is his belief that the economy shouldn't be based on productivity but some stupid metal found in the ground. Also that he believes those losers in the state government are one's that can do what's best for the country, despite the fact that states continously attack each economically without restraint.

I really don't like the dude, or many democrats for that matter. But the president is really untested. Lorelei not blaming you, but this is why democracy doesn't work, because most people are disenfranchised. Ignorant voting is dangerous. Not calling you ignorant merely that all people can't be expected to know all issues and that is very important when voting. But I said Obama is untested because he is. The beginning of his term he sought out bipartisan solutions despite house and senate majority. When that disapeared in 10 that went away when the republicans held all issues hostage and demanded counterproductive tradeoffs. Such as Payroll tax can go through if Bush's tax cuts are extended. etc etc. The fact is that Obama can't do anything in his current administration that isn't shifted and changed to the will of the republicans.

Would have been a very dangerous VP choice. Rubio is one of the few Repugnants that do not neccesarily vote strictly on party lines. However anyone who believes that lowering taxes for the rich to spur job growth has no place in leadership.

Being Against the "Civil-War" is not saying you are against freeing slaves. Its saying your Against the fact that the conflict should have never happened, and the US should have just let us go and gave us Sumter.The South was just in its bombardment of the place but it should have never happened.

Also to say the war was over slavery is ignorance... The Emancipation was a political propaganda peice of paper not worth the ink used to right it bc IT HAD NO POWER. If the Yanks had truly cared about the slaves after the 13th amendment they would have enforced it during the Reconstruction but they didnt. Slavery phased itself out in the south and didnt end till 1919 when John Deer replaced 100 slaves with one tractor and slaves became the more expensive option.

I'm not saying the South is free from Sin, our history is marred with many many evils. But our accomplishments, the Good we did to advance society kind of take the back seat bc Being from the South and being proud of your home and your culture and nation makes you a racist. the fact is America is a different country then 200 years ago and if you think another civil war is plausible or a succession of the south is plausible then you are completely wrong many in the south recognize this as we are a more integrated country then ever before

I don't remember implying all of that. But I do know that waiting for the tractors to come to replace slaves is pretty rascist. Now here's the thing you can have your values and I can have mine. There are things you view as moral and I can have completely different views.

So I tend to stick to facts and leave values out of the equation (at least I try to, I tend to be a very opinionated). The civil war was brought up socio-economical differences. When the North no longer needed slaves they saw it as wrong. But the south spent good money on them. I understand the south's position, but in todays times you can't say those things. We KNOW in today's times that people of African desent can be as productive, intellegence, attractive, etc as the other races. Only when they are viewed as inferior does the original southern rebellion hold any ground. NOW IT DOESN'T! YOU SAY THE BLACKS DIDN'T NEED TO BE FREED AT THAT TIME, YOU'RE A RACSIST!

Anyways my main criticisms in the republican and libertarian partties lie with their mismanagement of finances, attacks on liberties, and the will to give more power to the state. Not on things they cannot control anyways.

Shallom, The Daily Show and Colbert Report are the best way to get the most accurate broadcasted news. I say broadcasted though, as you will never be informed enough by them alone. So I occassionally watch it, but in my personal opinion Colbert's quality of show and information has been consistantly declining.

Actually European countries are far more liberal than the US.
Germany has a legal drinking age of 16 and older (spirits till you get to age 18) and the US gives you alcohol until the Age of 21, but sends you to kill and get killed at the age of 18, how stupid.

Is Seccession Plausible... Probably not without all of the Southern States doing it at once which is Extremely unlikely (Though becoming slightly more Likely with growing Disdain for Washington in all states) Do I think the slaves should have been free. yes. do i think Blacks are equal to whites in ability and potential. yes. Do i believe waiting on a tractor is Racist? only 20% more or less owned slaves to begin with that number decreased after the war gradually. Documentation also shows a (very) Small percent of slave owners Pre war were Black themselves.

But that being said. The South is not without sins but neither is the north. or west. or any other nation on God's earth.

Since this is the case I issue a challenge to all Romney voters. Go to Whitehouse.gov go to the budget and eliminate the deficit with just spending cuts. If you can tell me how because the sum of all government spending doesn't do it.

Then tell me whether you believe cutting the top marginal tax rate down to 25% is a good idea. Then tell me if lowering capital gains tax rate down to 10% only to be paid if income exceeds ~360k$ is a good idea.

I'll be waiting patiently for this impossible response.
