He should be found not guilty of all and they should be going after the Obama administration for charges.

He's getting 130 years. But I think the US government is all messed up. Like they want to charge Snowden for what? Telling everyone that the government is spying on us?!? Obama = Hitler. Nuff said. Hitler spied on everyone. What is Obama doing? That's right. Spying. EVEN ON OUR ALLIES! Hitler hated Jews and spread poperganda about Jews. Now Obama and Bush are doing the same thing saying all Muslims are terriosts and that we should destroy them. Sounds so much alike it's scary. And apparently I'm not the only one, because there was a group of people protesting it in my town. Just my opinion.

that's funny because the wise men on fox news told me manning was guilty no doubt about it and that the case was a slam dunk...... From what I have heard Snowden is telling Russia and other countries what information we have on them.... what fox news compared to the rosenburgs.... but then again they still live in the cold war.... technically what hes doing is illegal but that begs the question is what hes doing wrong.... keeping the government accountable to the people.... no that's not wrong..... that's God damn American

but not any other 1/2 developed Country is 'the land of the free and the home of the brave' and what I find most disturbing is the extend of the spying even on the own population, guess the DDR's Stasi would be proud if they would have been able to do that.
and besides that I guess you dont want to say if everyone does it, it is the right thing to do?

Honestly, the US government isn't spying on its allies, it's spying on people, people in general are crazy and it doesn't matter where they are from. I don't care to be spyied on because I have nothing to hide, and I do t care since its confidential. I don't care to be spied on as long as the US and it's allies are safe, it stopped 50+ terrorist attacks, and people keep that information in away in their minds keep attacking the government.

Frankly, with what Snowden is doing is also going to get foreign agents killed. And not only that, it is ordinary statecraft. Because if you think that our allies are not spying on us, you are sadly mistaken. Every nation spies on everybody, whether they be friend, foe, or the guy next door.

Germany should not be considering asylum for Snowden, my country should open its doors for him. But the US Government has a knife at our backs, saying "Don't do it" much like on everyone else called "Allies". Russia is pretty much the only country willing to withstand US pressure, this just makes me really sad for Germany, especially because of the humiliating fact that my Government helped in this spying. Europe is in a huge debate right now (Except the UK... which is technically a US Overseas Franchise).

I understand @philipp bauer, the german people didn't know about this madness,
but the people who really deserve our thanks,is the chiinese/hongkong leaders & people
if not them letting snowden get on that plane,he was "KOS" which proves whether we like
eachother or not,we're all in this boiling pot together.

Wow. I didnt know I landed in such GOOD company where so many people actually can think for themselves and not believe all the lies the TV tells us. I knew I was in the right place..

American government is dangerous. I believe that it assassinated Micheal Hastings, who was a reporter who reportedly was going to expose something on the CIA. Hours before he was killed, he sent a message to his colleagues saying he was being investigated by the FBI, and had to "lay low for a while" and that they may be questioned regarding him or his story. Then for some reason he goes speeding across town and his car just randomly looses control and blows up.

their sick "eww world order" but there is some good guys & girls within the FED.

Without those people from inside sigh'i don't know if we could've even stood a.
chance in hell,of defeating these people.

I hope the Germans grant Snowden asylum well anyone would be good i think many americans are against information gathering on private citizens without a warrant or oversight of some sort..... i do happen to believe that the NSA employs very responsible people however all it takes is one person to fuck it all up and invade someones private life.... i dont think the spying on other countries governments is all to horrendous just ordinary statecraft like talisbeth said however seeing as the US is a leader of the free world we are setting a poor example to other countries and are displaying fantastic hypocricy instead of our cherished American ideals and space313 "those who would sacrifice the least bit of freedom for the least bit of security deserve nethier".... im of the mind that is principles like these which make america america and americans americans

You are assuming that I believe the USA is the "the land of the free and the home of the brave". I do not.

Also I do not think that if everyone is doing it, its the right thing to do.

I apologize if you misunderstood me and assumed certain things. (Thats the problem we face on internet posts I suppose.) The point I was making is that all the world governments are doing the same thing.

But here is the 'skinny' on this subject.

The GREAT MAJORITY of world governments, most definitely including the USA/German/Russia, are known liars. This is an undisputed fact! So personally I choose to not believe anything I hear from them. We hear the statement that 'over 50 terrorist plots have been foiled' from the intrusive spying. Who says this? Ahhhh, the same people who are doing the spying... Seriously??? Again this is just a group of known liars (The USA/any world government) spewing out lies in an attempt to justify their actions.

As for the Fox News/ MSNBS/CNN... Republican/Democrat mess... its all part of the 'Hegelian Dialectic'. We are made to think we have choices, when in reality we do not. Let me explain this in a somewhat humorous way. If I declare war on you and my goal is to defeat you and take control of your country but I ask you How do you want me to accomplish this? You prefer me to destroy you with cruise missiles or would you prefer me to bomb you into oblivion? The result or final outcome will be the same. Only the method changes. So in reality, did I even give you a choice?

This is the same type of choice/situation the USA public is presented with. The whole system is going down, and going down rather rapidly. We think we have a choice but the reality is that its all headed for disaster.

However all is not lost, when major changes happen humanity can/will survive, but most certainly not with the present system that's in place.
