Weapons can be traded directly between countries. Such direct trading is important when a country is at war and needs weapons or ammunition for direct use. As some weapons may be in short supply on the world market, the purchase of weapons from a friendly country can become essential. The weapons purchased in this way are available for direct use.
Experience has shown that some of these transactions are made between countries that have the same owner and were used with unrealistic pricing that was used to transfer large amounts of money between countries. To prevent such misuse of this feature, the pricing range of weapons that are transferred in this way has some limitations.
Unfortunately, such measures are taken in many features of the game to prevent misuse. In addition, contract purchases of weapons are limited by the same rules of monthly spending as the purchasing of weapons on the open market.
Weapon transfer between countries is also possible between countries that belong to the same empire. Such transfers are easier to perform and are not paid for.
