The max number of simultaneous wars is limited to 30. The war treaty feature can cause the number of wars to increase and some countries may be faced with too many wars to handle. Once a treaty war declaration is invoked, it cannot be stopped.
If a country declares war on another, and that war declaration causes treaty declarations by members of the federation, the number of potential wars is checked before these treaty declarations become effective.
If the country is already involved in war with 15 countries or more, treaty war declarations will be blocked. If the number of wars the country is involved in, is 14 or lower, the treaty war declaration will be executed for all members of the federation that have signed the war treaty.
This can cause up to 25 war declarations and the attacking country may become involved in 39 wars. (14 + 25).
Countries may try to have their friends declare war on them to prevent real wars but this is difficult, as they cannot declare war on themselves. The gamemaster will watch very carefully how this is used and may add more features to prevent it. If any such case will occur, the maximal number of simultaneous wars may increase.
Wars with C3 countries are no counted in these numbers but the number of such wars is limited to two and any time.
