In a game where constant tweaking is explained as needed to improve or increase the realism of the experience, listing Loan interest rates as what they are over a real year rather than a game year is absurd. It may be reasonable to adjust the rates or let them float but they should reflect realistic levels on a game time basis and not a real time basis. Vote Yes to call on W3C to stop the recent changes and go back to listing and setting Loan interest rates based on the game clock.
