Detailed Description:
This idea was raised a couple of times, and I think its time we vote on it. Very straight forward: Do you want similar weapons that are in double in this game to become double-use weapons and only once. Example : light and heavy artillery becomes artillery. light and heavy tanks becomes main battle tanks. light and heavy arm vehicles become armed fighting vehicles. light and heavy jeeps, become army personal carriers. defense and attack destroyers become destroyers. Each of these redone weapons will have the manpower of the sum of the old 2/2, defense and offense capabilities with hit rates and damage % based on their action. The range of these weapons should be the greater of the two. This falls under the idea of "military units" and also common sense. Have you ever heard of tanks only defending ?! Tanks don't sit and defend, the attack and defend at the same time. Please vote yes to see what W3C thinks of this idea. Thanks, Manny

Defensive weapons come at much lower cost and are intended to allow people who just want to protect their countries, do so with defensive weapons and at reasonable cost.
The existence of the two separate groups of weapons makes it possible to differ between the two armies, the two groups of users and make the offensive army much larger and harder to maintain.
