Why is it that when NooBs hostile bid on peoples corporations and are asked not to do it anymore, they send nasty responses and continue to do it?

For the record, this gentleman (or asshat, depending on your POV) repeatedly bid on WGC members corps and continued to do so despite polite and the not-so-polite messages requesting that he cease and desist. First he claimed he did not know, then carried on doing it and, predictably, finally began sending messages such as "Bite me scumbag".
When he dropped war protection, the WGC Defense Minister declared on him with one country in order to prevent him going back into WP. Our intention was not to attack, unless there were any further hostile-bids. However, he counter-declared on 5 more countries belonging to the same player and began the hostilities himself.
I can only assume that his hostile-bidding has not been restricted to WGC, as he is currently at war with 15 countries including members of Nueva Vida and other independent and respected vets. WGC are by no means the only federation sending him free nukes via special air-delivery
Now now, Gothard, don't exaggerate ... unless you are a multi, there can only be 15 countries at war with your one slave, as that is the maximum allowed by the game. Take some advice, freely given. When you are new to a game that is so dependent on interaction, it is a good idea to get to know what is and isn't acceptable within an existing community before you start kicking off. WGC has a reputation for being one of the most peaceful feds going ... too peaceful for many. I doubt anyone on this forum will believe you didn't ask for everything you are getting.

That's because we never attack straight off, Brian, and you did. We debate, try to achieve a peaceful solution and only attack other players if all else has failed. If you had waited until that point, you may not have been evicted from our fed.
As I said ... WGC is too peaceful for many players, including Brian. We put up with many hostile bids and messaged Gothard a number of times before we reluctantly came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to respond to diplomacy.

Too peaceful?? Are you kidding? I am as peaceful as they come. I have in my entire 10+ years of playing SC starting ONE war against a non C3. Please do not spew lies and hide behind "we are too peaceful for many players". That may well be the biggest bunch of bull I have ever read on these forums.

There were rules in place, readily available and known and they were not followed. You were asked to explain what happened and refused to do so, that was your choice and it was our choice to remove you from the fed, pretty simple.

Actually I did explain to Jo what I did and why I did it, as well as the one member who you like to keep mentioning. Once again though if they choose to lie that is just how it is. Now i see you are placing unwelcomed bids on members of the Nueva Vida federation.
My advice is to not place bids on anymore players corps unless you have had permission. Not everyone welcomes bids (rightly or wrongly) on their corps.

Jo's an abslute liar, I'm a nOob but I've been contacted by dozens of players and the general consensus is that WGC are a bunch of self righteous, arrogant fools. Most of the players with any sense left WGC long ago and were replaced with cowboys.

Theres a place called the security council that these problems can be resolved in. A cowboy federation running around hitting anyone they want for jollies isn't the solution.

thats already been resolved between myself and the ceo in question and she didnt even have to send an entire federation to nuke me - I regard myself as on cordial terms with Nueva Vida and quite a few other federations. You need to start watching your back Jo dear. Plutoniums easier to get when people dont like who youre fighting

You have also messaged another NV member who complained to you and you said, remove your corps from these enemy countries or you will continue to bid on them.

I'm not taking any of that personally, but I know a lot of players who would, and some of them are in our fed. Can you blame them?? I think I've been pretty good natured about all of this (aside from the nuking...) but I can only imagine what you must've said to some people.
As for the war, you're right, nuking you isn't resolving this. You got the point - I think we should end this.
I think what this comes down to is that many of our members (myself included) have been less than polite to you in our messages, and you've decided to give it back tenfold; you were polite to some of us and I'll give you credit for that, but with others you decided to escalate it, without realising that we connected.

ya know posting pms from a guy thats being nuked into the dark ages and claiming that thats who i am is the same WGS disinformation ive heard all along. THe first set of PMs was a part of an exchange of no less than 7 pms between yourself and I. You kept insisting over andover that I could retract a bid when I couldnt and your tone got more and more insulting - calling me a liar and threatening before I finally got upset and changed my tone.
the other messages were sent when I took my slave state out of protection and tried to distract you from what I thought was an attack on another player thinking she was me - It worked pretty well im proud to say - El Loco is still hanging onto your coattails trying to inflict as much damage as he can instead of hitting her.
As far as the other statements Im dead serious - this little incident isnt going aaway and I dont care if you nuke me for the next 6 generations.
I know what I need to do to take you down and Im aware of how long it will take and how much it will cost me.
so far the only victims in this are the other CEO's who got caught up in the crossfire when you decided to nuke 30 of their solid corps to revenge yourself on a noob for buying a few of your failing corps.
Im angry - very angry and this isnt going to end in the near future.
