Limit attacks per day (Not game day) (Little Upsilon)

We should limit attacks per day on a country, I mean soldiers do get tired and must rest they can't just be a terminator and go full blast on everything and everyone.

Soldiers can rest when the President rests ;)

And there are blackout periods too.

No suggestions about the war engine should be made my people who don't know how to play the war game.

If you had experience, you would notice that land units move at a certain rate per day. It's not an unbelievable pace either, especially not on WG or GR where the countries are smaller than LU too. Aircraft in SC have large enough crews you could have multiple pilots for different sorties. Also, you don't ever fight a real war on SC with only one division or wing.

A war that last one RL day on LU is 6 game months. For your little soldier people, the pace is very realistic. Worry not that they aren't sleeping or eating... and stop making bad suggestions that won't further the game.

I think he has just been raided too much by someone and is sick of the attacks.

Also,No Kim you are wrong. If you get invaded,and your soldiers are fighting for their homeland, almost every one will be up days or sometimes even weeks at a time. If not for their country, for the fact that they are scared shit less lol.

Edit: But yeah Petra is right,6 months per in game day on LU, 3/4 on the other worlds. Yeah,they are sleeping plenty while you are.

In the previous war engine, attacks were limited to... eight every five minutes? Something around that.

The attacks were limited by country, and if you used 3 countries you barely waited at all. If had those three countries, you can see this has improving time efficiency.


The blackout period is in "testing". Only one issue sprung up and it was quickly solved. The time will be extended from the current four hours to the original eight.

I'm not unaware of the old attack limits, even if it was before my time, Laguna.

Since the posting of all the replies PRIOR to yours, the OP has edited his post to make it look more intelligent. He wanted an attack limit per RL day AGAINST countries, which is what all the posts were responding to.

The original post did not hint at all at restoring the original system with attack limits, which is something I would not necessarily be opposed to. What the original post DID say, you would have come down on like the first three repliers.

8 hours a day blackout!! This is a crazy idea!!

I practice my own brand textualism. I try to interpret and adapt the writer's intentions as they are needed. Likewise, I post a manner specific to the reader.

The three posts that followed the original were all based on realism. They didn't cover what was necessary.

Any particular reason for not being eight?

8 hours is fine if you fight somebody in the same time zone as you. But if you are fighting somebody 5 or 6 hours behind/infront of you it way lead to war being impossible for those people with jobs and would like to sleep.

The current NV 3Ms war has lasted a week, will probably last 1,2 who knows how many war. A long time to go without sleep!
