Automatic Closure System goes wild

Andy, GMs,

In my nation of DanNation on LU. Four different CEO controlled Corporations closed all in the same month, Feb 4055 LU calendar. I received messages saying "...has been closed because the market value and utilization are too low and the corporation is making losses."

However I know at least one of them was worth at least 200-400 billion SC$. I believe several of them were profitable, although I can't be sure, because they were CEO managed.

The Corps that closed were:
"Private Factory Maintenance" in DanNation, I believe this was Letse's corp.
"Private Electric Power" in DanNation, same as above.
"Melrose Household Products" in DanNation, I don't remember who owned this one.
"Vandelay Construction 198" in DanNation, of "Vandelay Construction" Enterprise, Owned by "John Galt".

Please check to make sure there isn't a bug with the Corp closure system. As that could cause severe damage if left unchecked.

PS, sorry if this is a double post, but my post didn't show up in the general thread o.0

why does the system like to close the perfectly good corps that never go green?
It should just close the the green supply ones and the over company ones.
System close the bad ones. Also the system should close all them 5% hiring companies. Any company under 25% hiring close and the 120 bil debt ones.

..and yet I'm getting automatic building of new corps, despite having option turned off, with an education index a whopping 140+ (too high) and an employment index 70+. It's like opposite whatever each of us would want. Hmmm...
I'm saying that in jest, but still, can't figure it out.

Knome,

The Automation giveth, and the Automation taketh away.
The AI moves in mysterious ways.

Lol

May the almighty automation system be merciful.

The system does not close any good corporations.
and nothing is changed in the game to make it do so.

Next time you have something like this, please mail immediately.
we have detailed logs and can find out.

automatic building when automation is turned off:
only if education <70 or no login for several weeks.

people say it happens from time to time but never with specific name of country, corporation created so we cannot check.

Daniel:

you did mention names but it is too far back.

please mail the gamemaster if it happens.

I am not saying there is no possibility for a bug.
there is.
but the info I get is not proving any.

Andy,

Thank you for your response. I posted on the forum less than an hour after it happened, as the forum has thus far been my only means of communication to the GM's.

How do I mail the GM's in future? Is there an email address or ingame messaging system?
