The Little Upsilon World War (NLUO Word Government Vs. Hydra Federation)

The World of Little Upsilon has been thrust into world war. The NLUO World Government Vs The Hydra Federation. There are 4 issues that has come up, which has gotten up to this point.

It started with President Crafty upset with the fact that our government seats nations and empires in the Joint Chiefs of Staff Federation Congress according to the size and strength of their empires, and their federations. There are 85 regions so, this government covers all of those regions. There is a seat in the congress for every region of Little Upsilon. Crafty found his empire seated because of his occupation of the specific region. He was contacted to join the NLUO, and he replied in an unfavorable way. I then made a statement that the world government "governs the world of LU", and this caused a cold war, and the establishment of Hydra, via the None Aligned Nations. Hydra's creation was an open declaration of war. The NLUO set up an emergency executive order for war, and the secretary of Defense position was created, and the decs went out. This calmed things for a time.

Then came the "Crafty/Lord Lee Situation, which flamed more separation, and suspicion. Then came the GAZ Hostle Corp bid, then came the GAZ hostile takeover of Presidnt Slayerofgods assets, which belong to the NLUO since his empire went inactive when he was apart of the NLUO.

Now you have the situation of Shave's infultration of the NLUO, and systematic division of the NLUO as a government. As if there is not already a division through our political affiliations.

These nations who come against the NLUO have no discipline. They do not want to live under a political organization, and make a mark through the organization. No, these nations would rather try to destroy it, rather than just join, learn it, and use it. You will find that it is very fun, interactive, and works with the game of sim country even down to the political parties. The old order is individual nations gain political power through the size of their nation, how long they have been playing the game, and the federation they belong to. In this government it does not matter how big your nation is. You can yield as much power as the constitution allows, as well as make changes for your own personal cause if you would like. Through this political organization you will learn, war, international politics, government, economics, and general interaction. All you have to do is take a chance. If you don't like the government, you are free to leave at any time. Nations who do not want to be apart of the government do not have to be, we will never bother you unless that nation is interfering in the interests of this government. It is up to you LU. You see the many threads. You see the links. Public voting World government was accepted by a majority. Federations having money in their feds is accepted. This game is moving to a world government style of play. WHY? it is because of the organization. Period. Power in numbers and organization.

Lastly, Kel came into the Decambra Region, which is a security Threat,, and was asked to leave, but refused. Then Secretary Wendy fired the first shot, and the war has started. August 3097.

I was editing the thread.

I was never -asked- to leave.. I was threatened to be moved out by force by a king with no army, and then immediately declared on by another member of NLUO. Now that I have been declared on and with the war in full swing I now consider my outpost in Decambra to be of strategic importance.. Thus I will continue a military presence there for the duration of the war and possibly longer.

Other Hydra members have set up in the same vicinity, surrounding your empire Hezekiah. I recommend swimming lessons for your military, or continue to stay in war protection. Your only way out is through us or escape to sea, and your safest bet is with the sharks.

As long as you continue to self-proclaim your control over Little Upsilon, there will always be a group like us to keep you in check.

Well, 'contained' is the correct word so long as you stay in WP or lvl 2. Otherwise its called something else.

Government is a contract between the state and the governed. Such a contract is not granted by some abstract notion of "the people", it is granted by each person on an individual level. Whether by quiet acceptance or fervent devotion, we may consent to be governed. However, let it be known that this consent is not required out of some base fealty to the soil of LU!

This is the question the Hydra asks: Why should we consent to be governed by those with at best diverging intentions and at worst contradictory intentions to our own? Why should we forfeit our own very real, hard-earned and hard-fought, power to those who have demonstrated not only an incapability of effectively using such power, an inability to restrain themselves from abusing such power, but worse, a lack of understanding as to the price of such power? Once again, we who have created and defended such power wish to keep it in our own hands. Should we give it to one who would use it to intimidate others? Should we give it to one who would use it to harass others? No, I should think not. How many wars have each of us fought to acquire our power, how many wars have each of us fought to maintain our power, how many wars will we all fight to maintain and expand our power and our freedom to use it? We shall see, we shall see.

Know this, it is not something we will forfeit for so cheap a price as naive and insincere words.

The audacity of claiming power over others in the form of a world-wide LU government: power that you don't currently possess is understandable... if you claim to possess power, it is more likely that others will simply resign themselves and accept it. Just as some of those who've joined your government no doubt have done. Although, it would be inaccurate to say all within your government have done so. But because you've claimed to govern LU does not make this the case. No matter how many you convince, there will always be those who refuse to be governed whether out of noble or foolish reasons. Today, we in Hydra are those noble fools. Tomorrow, we will remain so... in victory or defeat, we will remain dedicated to defending our power and our freedom to use it, and open ourselves to support all those who wish to defend their power and their freedom to use it.

We do not consent to be governed. We do not need to consent to be governed. Whether the contest is decided by weapons or words, we will be there... no matter what, no matter what. As long as we are able to resist, we will resist. Do not forget, nothing can force us to consent to be governed! Indeed, only our consent can do so. Consent that we shall not grant. In this, we are united, we are organized, we are prepared, we are determined... to defend our sovereighty, to defend our freedom, to keep our power from enabling your authoritarian regime.

All of LU can see the anemic, soul-less offense put up by NLUO's supporters... do you really expect dedication based on the premise of zerging and meddling in the affairs of other players?

Are you kidding me? The amount of bombers I lost is miniscule compared to what I have in inventory.
You also forgot to mention I took the country within 30 minutes, the low losses I incurred, the fact that lordlee ran away scared and tried to move out all his weapons because he knew he was going to lose, and all the weapons he left in the country I now possess. Also the value in gold coins it cost lordlee compared to what I used.

39M pop - 10M (Generally the amount in a C3) = 174 GC's. Lee lost alot, and if he didnt, why was he begging for mercy?

I would offer Aqua Velva man a tissue for his tears, the sweet person that I am, but with the Toilet Paper/Tissue crisis going on in LU,,,,,,,, I just can't spare a square!!! :-(

c3s do come in the 9M, 10M, 11M variety, but Jack brags of conquering those while they have no defenses in them. The one where I showed little resistance in using SF took him a good 30 hours to take. Not sure what the big fare buzz is all about.
