NLUO Elections

Hi Josias,

This time a new president of NLUO will be elected to represent the planet. I won't be standing and welcome other presidents to put their name forward. Everybody's welcome to participate.

The new president will have executive powers and will choose his/her council.

I plan on re-entering LU soon..... sooooooooooo

I nominate my self and should I win I nominate Nico, Wicked lady, Dyna as my Foreign representative, (Josias if your on LU then you), Lee, (Wild Stallion if your on LU), and I also nominate Space313 as Union ambassador.

Liar! Liar! Pants on fire! :P

question is..... where should I place myself.

What are the current polls?

Dyna where are you located on LU?

Dyna is on most worlds so that is why he was choose, Space I picked you because well Dyna can't because I already have a position for him, Lee was picked because he represents the failures of NLUO (jk), Nico as my BME representative and Jan because she knows LU, and Josias and WS because they have wisdom (Slightly lol jk).

this sounds like fun - id like someone to nominate us to stand for this president post (BUT) IM still going to take the post of director of intelligence regardless of what happens!

For those of you intelligent enough to understand, this is who I vote for in this message:- 01000110 01101111 01110010 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101111 01110011 01100101 00100000 01101111 01100110 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110111 01101000 01101111 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01101001 01101110 01110100 01100101 01101100 01101100 01101001 01100111 01100101 01101110 01110100 00100000 01100101 01101110 01101111 01110101 01100111 01101000 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110101 01101110 01100100 01100101 01110010 01110011 01110100 01100001 01101110 01100100 00101100 00100000 01001001 00100000 01110110 01101111 01110100 01100101 00100000 01100110 01101111 01110010 00100000 01010010 01101111 01110110 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01000101 01111001 01100101

How much intelligence does it take to google a binary translator?

As far as the vote. Um, Have fun kids.

the intelligence to think about it

I typically get paid to think. *holds out my hand......pay up, horsey. :P

I have a question though......really why is there a need for a world government? I think the game should stand as it is. However, I think a council of leaders from various federations convening would be kinda cool.

I can actually read binary by...hand...er....eye....REM sleep....something

Anywho, I dun need a translator.
Each binary cursor set is 8 digits

Precursor(numbers at the beginning):
011-Indicates lower case letter
010-Indicates upper case letter
0011-Indicates number
(no precursor)-An assortment of smilies
(there's a bunch more that I dun wanna get into)
Cursor:
The zeroes in the middle
PostCursor(numbers at the end):
Depends on the sequence, if you a postcursor of 1 and a precursor of 011, you get an 'a', a postcursor of 10 with a precursor of 011 gets you a 'b', 11 with 011 gets a 'c' and so on.

If you have 00000001, you get a smiley, 00000010 is a smiley that is a black fillin' with white outlining the eyes and smile.
01000010 is a capital B.

Just thought I'd throw that out.

What exactly is NLUO and why should I care about it? I don't mean historically... I mean right now : )

Yea, Elvis, thats what i was hoping fLee, (aka Equinox,) would take the opportunity to talk about. How ever, true to NLUO form, he was purposefully grey.

So honestly, the NLUO has no real direction, until they elect a new leader. How ever, the NLUO has always asserted that it is the legit world Government, of LU. A bureaucratic origination that claims the authority to rule LU.

How ever, their history, has been clouded with grey truths, purposeful distractions, blatant disregard for actual facts, and an incredible lack of strength to enforce their policies. Which is why we are now going on a their third attempt to gain control of the planet.

In the past, the NLUO has gained allot of support. Many people find the idea interesting, and would be interested in a more strait forward, honest approach, that the previous leadership just plain refused to offer. A new leader could take the NLUO in a better direction.

How ever, many issues are yet to be resolved. The 2 most boisterous members, behave how ever they wish, regardless of the over all will of the NLUO. Effectively harnessing the NLUO as a political forum for passive aggressive behavior, leading to wanton wars, that disregard the over all opinion of the voting mass.

And here's me thinking that TWL was volunteering her services for free. In ref to the vote, there is only one candidate that has the common sense to do what is right, so here's to hoping that you have the common sense to realise that with your vote.

In a time long forgotten by NLUO but a time still looked back on and remembered by SOME of us.... NLUO should remember and realise YET again that they NEVER were the legit World Government of LU but they still try to assert to all that they are.

I can announce that Nico is the new president.

Thank you for your participation.

Excuse me Blue Monkey, but no he isn't, the votes are:
3 for Dyna (Myself, Ian, and the WHy)
2 for Nico (Nico and Wicked Lady)

_> WHAT!!!!!????? When did I vote????? But I abstain from voting, I nominated my self because I plan on rejoining the LU world but I don't know where to go.

Now since I've won, let's throw a big party!
