This person who attacks the NLUO is actually a member of the NLUO, and he did not want to go through the correct channels to help move forward the government. His whole ambition was to be the one who toppled the Hezekiah Administration, through the LU International Criminal Court. He is also apart of a federation of nations called Hydra whose sole purpose of being created was to oppose, and destroy the NLUO World Government. If Shave would have gone through the proper channels, he could have had a better experience in the government. There are 3 issues that has come up, which has gotten up to this point.

It started with President Crafty upset with the fact that our government seats nations and empires in the Joint Chiefs of Staff Federation Congress according to the size and strength of their empires, and their federations. There are 85 regions so, this government covers all of those regions. There is a seat in the congress for every region of Little Upsilon. Crafty found his empire seated because of his occupation of the specific region. He was contacted to join the NLUO, and he replied in an unfavorable way. I then made a statement that the world government "governs the world of LU", and this caused a cold war, and the establishment of Hydra, via the None Aligned Nations. Hydra's creation was an open declaration of war. The NLUO set up an emergency executive order for war, and the secretary of Defense position was created, and the decs went out. This calmed things for a time.

Then came the "Crafty/Lord Lee Situation, which flamed more separation, and suspicion. Then came the GAZ Hostle Corp bid, then came the GAZ hostile takeover of Presidnt Slayerofgods assets, which belong to the NLUO since his empire went inactive when he was apart of the NLUO.

Now you have the situation of Shave's infultration of the NLUO, and systematic division of the NLUO as a government. As if there is not already a division through our political affiliations.

These nations who come against the NLUO have no discipline. They do not want to live under a political organization, and make a mark through the organization. No, these nations would rather try to destroy it, rather than just join, learn it, and use it. You will find that it is very fun, interactive, and works with the game of sim country even down to the political parties. The old order is individual nations gain political power through the size of their nation, how long they have been playing the game, and the federation they belong to. In this government it does not matter how big your nation is. You can yield as much power as the constitution allows, as well as make changes for your own personal cause if you would like. Through this political organization you will learn, war, international politics, government, economics, and general interaction. All you have to do is take a chance. If you don't like the government, you are free to leave at any time. Nations who do not want to be apart of the government do not have to be, we will never bother you unless that nation is interfering in the interests of this government. It is up to you LU. You see the many threads. You see the links. Public voting World government was accepted by a majority. Federations having money in their feds is accepted. This game is moving to a world government style of play. WHY? it is because of the organization. Period. Power in numbers and organization.

after all that, keep in mind, their are people that have been with this from the beginning, that have been unable to effect any positive change. and have commented to such on the forums

There is a little thing called "the Majority" is the main obstacle in front of them. If they can muster support the sky is the limit. I did not mean this post in disrespect Josias, as I do know that the Old order says you are a powerful Empire on LU. In the NLUO, you would be one of many.

The NLUO government is evolving and is going from strength to strength. Shave is facing several charges and not to be trusted, so don't let his lies deter you.

considering the controversy of just the first 12 posts in this thread, i'd encourage all those un-aware, to read the recent serious posts by this group, and get a feel for their leadership, before rushing to judgement

As I have already stated, the NLUO (Little Upsilon Government) is evolving, and you could shape its destiny too. Many presidents have differing opinions, that is why we are a democracy so the majority rule. In our forum:

You can debate policies, propose policies to become law, elect leaders and positions of responsibility, participate in government, or even become a diplomat.

Josias wants to portray us as a sinister organization but nothing could be further from the truth.

To all of the LU community, take the time to read all posts made by the NLUO members and other members of the "non-aligned" group, as the NLUO refers to players who haven't joined nluo, and you will see the truth of what that government is all about.
Everything they say in forums has contradicted what the nluo was set up to do in the first place.
Yes they have policies in place the nluo members can vote on, but, if you are against any of those votes, they will create a new law to oust those who are against policies set forth by the nluo.
The top members of nluo have their own agenda, and any input form lower ranks within that government have no say in any policies or laws set forth.

Like I said at the beginning of my post, take the time to read all posts in the forums regarding anything to do with nluo or Hydra, and you will see the real agenda of nluo.

so, now that lee has brought it up. not only am i a member, i'm also a founder

so, read the hydra threads also, and you get a little different flavor for what hydra is, then how lee describes it.

Keto is another Hydra member whose sole purpose is to destroy the NLUO World Government for the sake of it!

We in the NLUO of course have disagreements but we come together as one and vote on issues we disagree with. If someone disagrees with you on an issue in the NLUO, we have discussion and debate and more importantly respect.

The Hydra federation was set up to destroy democracy! It's nothing to be proud of Josias!

The NLUO is a great government. I am a current member. I have 1 slave nation. I am a small empire. I was the Secretary of LU Security. I worked hand and hand with Lord Lee in his role on the Security Council to get developmental aid to new and debt ridden economies. I ran for Secretary General. I started out as an Expansionist, but I changed political affiliations. I am now an Isolationist. This party fits my ideology more.

I have never wanted to leave this government. If I would not have joined this government, I would have not even enjoyed the power and responsibility I had. I had so much fun running for Secretary General. I got some much publicity, and now my name is a household name. I would have never been able to achieve this how the big empires and federations deal on LU without the NLUO.

So, I am a small nation who got to drink of the cup of power, and I liked it. But now, I have no position because have to resign your position, when you run for Secretary General if it an executive position. But I am not leaving the government. I will just lobby my representative of my region to get what I want done. King Hezekiah and the NLUO federation represents the Decambra region in the Federation Congress, so I contact him for legislation I want passed based on how my country is done. So, this is a good government. VIVA LA NLUO!!!!

Although many like Herod and I have gone from unknown to somewhat known ( ;-) ) do not delude yourselves- the NLUO is not a publicity firm. The membership strives to better LU through different avenues.

We haven't always been in the right- anyone can tell you that. But many of us do fight for the good of all nations, not just our own. Explore your options, but when reviewing the NLUO (or any other org) review it with an impartial mind, and let the organization speak for itself.

The members of the NLUO are the government and we're all equal. Sometimes we have difference of opinion but we all want to make the NLUO government work, not just for us but for the whole of the Little Upsilon Community.

Hydra initially posted that comment but quickly recanted, which I might add, that comment was stated because of the fact that nluo members had taken c3 next to members of Hydra for the purpose of attacking.

they say they want to make it a better place for the LU community, but they callously refuse to except input from the same community, or even offer it any kinda of respect, by communicating with it, or negotiating, or even settling in the live harmoniously with the community itself!

for instance, i've backed down, publicly, from the "destroy the NLUO," statement. however, the only half of the story told by the NLUO is that our very existence is a declaration of war. It is infact in Hez's post above.

its true that the Hydra started out aggressive, but we've toned down. and even offered to negotiate with the NLUO, how ever, we were refused. we asked for peace, but had the door shut on us. yet, they constantly claim our very existence is a declaration of war.

that is why i'm encouraging all players considering this... read through the things the NLUO leadership has said. Some of them will shock you, seriously!
