In other news, analysts in the Scarlet Interior department have published a short overview on the Scarlet Space Program. They mentioned that while our scientists had been expected to initially use rockets in the first player launch of the simcountry space program; they decided against doing so due to a lack of Solid Missile Fuel. In fact, no Solid Missile Fuel was used either in the production or launch of the first space shuttle. In order to keep the launch on schedule and to take advantage of existing technologies, our scientists and engineers constructed the HEAVIEST Heavy Artillery piece ever constructed with which to load and fire the Cargo Shuttle. Since then, each space center has been outfitted with an upgraded, specialized artillery-based launching mechanism for all its Cargo Shuttles. This announcement is intended to dispel some recent rumors that the Interior Directorate has any intention of switching to the less efficient and more volatile rocket-based space launches. Several prior attempts have resulted in the explosion of the Cargo Shuttles and destruction of a combined $15.7T in equipment.
