W3C - New Portal pages

I keep getting locked out of the portal.

It would be nice if you could access other countries from a footer bar. That way we wouldn't have to go to the portal at all except first log in.

INTERNAL ERROR: Unable to display page (plogplay)

I retried and everything was okay.

all the cash market links are grayed out. I am using firefox.

There is no link to exclusive or public voting only through the sigt map. And I can't open up cash market or boosters in a new tab rather annoying.

doesnt say how many coins i have in top right..


and randomly my portal page is going black/blank again. T.T~ ikis fix didn't fix afterall.

I have totally lost the ability to deactivate/reactivate military units. The old toolbar doesn't work for these options, and the option is not available in the Action list or on the new toolbar. Have my thousands of inactive units just disappeared from the game?

I like Pathetic Sheep's idea of not having to go back and forth to the portal to switch to different countries in the same Empire...quicker.

I'm here to add to the list of complainers that are having difficulty going from my countries to the portal...I too keep getting locked out and Internet Explorer can't find the page even if I start a new page or refresh or whatever I do for about 5-15 minuets. It's very frustrating...please stabilize the portal.

from the reports of the portal slowing things way down and/or randomly crashing, should I be thankful I haven't logged into simcountry since the portal was changed?

I got used to the change already and cant wait for more options like ability to group countries and CEOs by world rather than by Countries and Enterprises, or ability to let me drag stuff around the screen to allow me for my own optimization of links i use most, or perhaps way to change fonts and size of certain links.

Yes, to access countries and enterprises without going to portal would save me, and hopefully others, lot of bother.

Yes, I've been experiencing some slow downs since the portal changed, and even if Im not too confident Ajax will win the league, I can only believe they will keep up the goal scoring tempo.

Thanks W3C! Kudos to each of the staff. I enjoy the new format. Its much easier to navigate. I changed from the large icons to text for countries and it has made it much easier to find the country I want.

I like the new layout. Thanks W3C! can you fix the down times and slow loading please?

Can anyone tell me where the Game News and each world's widget as gone?

I will be looking at this later on with a critical view and I would appreciate some more info from W3C's behalf first.

I agree with PS about the footer bar.
The Revert button still doesnt work, and when Im in the cashmarket, and I hit the back button on my browser, it backs me up to my country, and I have to go back to the portal page all over again, and go back in through the cash market, and whatever link I want to go to.

If you guys can just fix the revert button so we can revert back to the old layout... I'd be forever grateful.

For the game news, click on game news in the link bar under the menu. we might add a gadget that will show up only if there are changes in game news or vote news.

The world gadgets were removed because of performance issues after the change.

now, with performance issues behind us, we can bring them back.

Instead, next week, we will add a feature that will allow you to choose the gadgets you want, including the world boxes.

Footer bar????

if you have any remaining problems with the new setup, please describe in details and we will solve it.

There will be more on performance next week as we have already improved more pages and are working on more short cuts.

In the settings there is a "revert" button.
What is the point of this button? I've assumed it was to revert back to the old portal page, which would be AWESOME.... But I try to click it every single day in hopes that I can revert to the old layout. But to no avail, this button never works.
Can you guys please look into that and make it do something?

"footer bar" is probably not the technical term. I was imagining links across the bottom of the page.

It would be fine to put it the top area. In "my empire" add "login as>". The bottom of the page is empty so it seamed like a good place.
