What is it that scares people away (Fearless Blue)

What is it that scares people away from Fearless Blue. So many people will choose other planets and never step foot in FB. Fearless Blue is almost as large as White Giant. With only 218 less countries then WG. There is so much room available with only 596 presidents. The next closest planet has 1447 presidents. It begs the question of why are people apprehensive to join FB. War is cheaper here so C3 raiding is more profitable. The fact that i can take a level 6 C3 and sell that 10T in cash you get for 100 GC. It literally finances the game for me. Is it that some may not know how to war? There are so many veterans that would be happy to help teach you the ropes of war. Perhaps its that you worry your empire will be taken by another. Yes the risk is there. But you would be suprised just how little war there is. Aslong as you dont make alot of enemies, find good players to ally with and negotiate with your enemies at wars doorstep.
You would be just fine. Ive been on Fearless Blue for many years. Have i ever been wiped out? No. Have i ever lost countries? Yes a few. Did i simple rebuild and come back stronger? Definately!

Now i know this is in the general forum and some may think it should be in the Fearless Blue Forum. But this needs to be seen be all the players.

This would be the right answer IMO.
It requires time to defend by ourself, plus the learning curve for the new war engine even for someone who played SC many years ago takes time.

It's risky.

Why don't people move to FB? Because you'll work your ass off for an empire, nice econ and def index, when boom.

Some tosser with 300x the weapons and Q you have slaps you round the arse and takes everything in about 1 day.

You'll sit there thinking, what the fruck, just happened.

I have setup enterprises on every world (including 2 on FB) and in time I will expand my empire to FB, with the intention being for war purposes, leaving the economy side more for other worlds.

Now that we have interactive planetary empires, it may be a route I pursue for Allied Forces as a whole.

I do think it is wise to start on another world and build a solid economic base and then expand to FB for raiding and war experience.

If the war engine performed as explained and more players could count on not being a victim of seemingly random glitches, more players would then be willing to risk playing war.

As it stands, when things don't perform as expected, it can make players lose confidence in the integrity of the game. It is a shame that serious errors and glitches are persistent after so many reports. This certainly cannot help the bottom line. Time to tighten up the inconsistency in the war engine. Mutating code is truly a thing to be marveled upon, and only marveled.

I destroyed forces. The ammo is gone and money spent on that ammo.... gone. Yet the unit remains....

I still cannot reclaim any territory on the map.... I have run my special forces and land units across the maps several times....

Reported. no answer....

These fleets have been damaged for at least 12 game months. No action by the enemy.

No healing, and no reports of being re-damaged. And for gawd's sake please don't imply that any stealth units did this. I have already fought a war with them used. The new damages the stealth units create is generated in the news report.

This has been reported, no response.
I'm fairly certain the functionality of a player's navy should never be in question. Especially during an active war.

Wouldn't that scare you away from playing the war game?

That does make me less active from the wargame indeed.

No evidence here of any problem with the war engine and none was reported to us for a very long time.
The only documented reports we received in the past months involved the number of losses on both sides in some cases and we have indeed looked into them and tuned some by a fraction.

The messages here are vague at best.
There is nothing about what was used, against what, quality, availability of ammunition, losses etc.

The attack report is not shown and the attacking unit is not shown.

The availability of air defense units, fed help nothing is documented.

We love to find errors in the war engine because then, we can fix them and improve the war engine.

any help on real errors will be appreciated.
Please mail the game master and if indeed an error, it will be fixed immediately.

Do new players ever get put on FB for their first world?

I gave you three unit names, three specific fleets.

On the original thread I gave you the country I was using, and I gave the opponent country.

I know you have 48 hours backups for all worlds in case of emergency or bugs, so if you wanted to look and see, you could have. Just say you don't care, and I won't either.

Just saying anything, can be enough for me. But implying I am lying... should be a crime.

Are you saying that fleets not repairing for 12 consecutive game months is not "Evidence" of "something" not right? I like drugs too...

My country is Simplistic, it was self evident in the report 3 posts up. The enemy country is "Raid Center" Both on Little Upsilon.

Navies do not have quality.

I am not complaining of my weapons failing to shoot, so ammo ammo is not applicable here.

Are you surprised when there is no attack report when I am saying that my fleets are damaged and there are NO records of any attack. My game news goes 12 months back. Take a look.

On FB there are also additional gold coins awards. When winning wars against C3 countries of higher levels on the Fearless Blue world, the following gold coin awards will be won by the winner:

Reaching war level 3 is awarded with 10 Gold coins.
Reaching war level 4 is awarded with 50 Gold coins.
Reaching war level 5 is awarded with 75 Gold coins.
Reaching war level 6 is awarded with 100 Gold coins.
Reaching war level 7 is awarded with 150 Gold coins.
Reaching war level 8 is awarded with 150 Gold coins.
