Andy, war protection not working

I have purchase my second country with 30 GC's and i have extended the war protection but it says its still have no war protection and not secured, can you fix this problem please?

You have to turn it on after you buy war protection. It is in the war page of the country.

If you are below war level 3 dont waste your money on war protection. No one can attack you below war level 3.

So John, does that mean I must keep my slave countrys at level 3 then to avoid being attacked and my main country can go higher?

The levels are linked. They all will be at the same level.
