I would like to raise a broader concern regarding the current cost structure of offensive weapons across the game.
The issue is no longer limited to specific air units — offensive weapons in general have become extremely expensive to deploy and maintain at meaningful scale. Even placing a modest offensive force in a single country creates significant financial strain due to the combined effects of purchase cost and ongoing expenses.
While highly established players may be able to absorb these costs, the barrier to entry for newer and mid-level players is extremely high. Stockpiling sufficient offensive capacity for real strategic warfare has become economically impractical for most participants.
This creates a structural imbalance in the war game:
New players are effectively priced out of meaningful military participation.
Mid-tier players are discouraged from building offensive capability.
Only the wealthiest empires can sustain large-scale forces.
War activity risks declining due to economic deterrence rather than strategic deterrence.
