Tamper Monkey QoL Scripts

Hi Everyone,

I have been thinking of writing a series of Tamper Monkey scripts to improve a lot of the page functionality in the game for a while now.

I haven't had the time to sit down and do it, so I finally broke down and started using AI to write them to my spec. The advantage is that I'm actually getting them done, the disadvantage being that they're AI-slop scripts that are easy to break and could have hidden bugs.

I published a repository to my Github where I will be uploading them as I am satisfied with the functionality and quality of them. I am uploading the scripts in public domain for anyone to use as they see fit for any purpose.

My Github repo is here: https://github.com/WalkingGlitch/Simcountry/

It's pretty basic at the moment, but I will be going through and adding better documentation and some screenshots showing off the various scripts.

It's expected that you can figure out how to install Tamper Monkey on your own as there are already plentiful resources for this.

Of course, I take no responsibility for your use of these scripts, or any consequences thereof, and provide no expectation of support, except at my convenience.

Enjoy.

With my latest script, you can now you can sort and filter selections on the order strategies screen.

I also added a much better Readme file to the repo!

I added another one to the repo for a sorting toolbox on the corporate salary pages.

I dedicate this one to Hymy, Unsthable, and Yankee for their experimentation and data mining of corporate salaries!

I added a script that makes a a custom table that loads your cash flow history back several years, and allows you to sort it, and more!

@Andy, if this stresses the servers, let me know, I will rate limit it.

No stress but at some point we had tens of thousands page clicks in a short time.
We support what you do but need to make sure there are no such episodes.

We will look into the scripts asap.

Happy to hear you like them. I will hold off on further changes/use and advise everyone to do the same until you've had the chance to look into them. I suspect I know where the Galaxy Console went wrong, but I will await further communication on it before I test anything on it. Meanwhile, the repo is up for anyone that wants to look, but do not install or run the Galaxy Console.

I will also do packet snooping from now on to make sure that network requests are not misbehaving.

EDIT: I added a disclaimer to the repo warning against use of the Galaxy Console script for the time being.

@Andy Do you know which form submissions it was spamming? Was it everything for the Galaxy, or specific entities? Assuming it was querying on the internal debug event hooks, I'm guessing it was shuttle related? Just trying to find where to start looking through the code since the AI isn't exactly being helpful with this problem.

EDIT: Just skimming it, I think the problem is around line 949-1060. It looks like the AI made the debug mode the default instead of DISABLING by default. I need some time to figure out how exactly this block of code works. I will look into this later in the week and modify it manually if needed. If you're okay with it, I'd like to try and fix it. I'd need permission to run it for a couple minutes at a time without triggering any bans so I can safely verify my fixes. Hopefully this is it and it just works properly after this is replaced.
