So far all the changes have increased workers (decreasing the number of unemployed) and therefore increased costs, causing massive worker shortages and reduced income especially in the more well-developed, larger population countries.
Going for level 14, I had over 94% employment which left me a bare minimum of spare unemployed workers. I am now suffering a need for an additional 130,000 HT Engineers and 220,000 LLWs in my largest country, which is full of high-value, fully upgraded corps

. The rest aren't far behind.
Tom, I understand from the game news that this will be balanced with higher corp profits (allowing us to reduce the number of corps in a country) and lower staffing requirements for weapons.
Are you able to reassure us that the next phase of the changes will increase income and reduce the need for workers, rather than add to the current problems? And that this next phase will be implemented soon?
Hugs and respect
Jo
PS: Thanks for warning us in advance this time.
