Corps @ 0% production? (Fearless Blue)

Hi

I'm on Fearless Blue World, and all my corps are producing 0%?

I have 100% hiring? Name is KoH

Help please

All my supplies qualities are at 150?

What else can i do to sort this out?

I'm not sure how to rectify that, as i've never had that problem, but i'm sure someone on here is willing to help you.

I was looking at your corps and the only thing I can think of is you have unchecked the 'automatic buying of supplies' box under settings > automation > automatic settings. under settings for corporations, buying strategy and also check the big table at the bottom of that page to make sure you have checked the left product purchasing box, save and re-check all corps have a tick next to them in the product purchasing column.

Your buying strategies should get you supplies without a problem if the auto is turned on.

Post if that doesnt cure it, it may take a game month or two to see the difference though.

Tom&Jerry, send an email to Gamemaster and let them have it. Apparently Jonni isn't around anymore to read 'everything'. And players have no business trying to troubleshoot this for this player. This is a job for the gm.

Seeing threads like this pains me deeply. I'm going to stop speaking my mind here before I get in trouble.

Do me a favour Tom/Jerry, go to a couple of your corp pages and about 2/3 rds the way down the page you'll see a link for World Market Trading > purchase products and services.

Click this, and if your corps are ordering but not receiving supplies then you'll see a list of stuff they ordered.
If nothing is listed as outstanding then they are not ordering them and I suggest you check the automatic settings yet again.

After a re-check of your corps, it seems the problem is getting electric power. Seems very strange when you've set it to buy at 108 or market.

I suggest you get your country to order as much nuclear power as you can in spending limit for a month or two, at immediate, any quality. This will arrive as electric power and is a cheaper way of buying it. Immediate and any quality to get it as fast as you can.
Then when you have some in your country stocks, sell it to your own corps in 'trading with own corps'. It still doesnt explain why you arent getting any in like a dozen corps...
I reckon once you get them supplied first time they will sort themselves out for the future. Strange things can happen in this game.

I tried everything you said. No supplies are still coming in. i ordered nuclear power, and no supply given?

I'll just quit for now and try again next year or something. How can i get far in this game without money? 2T i think is low? I need money to buy school, hospital, transport? Corportation? Pay Tax? Need to try and expand with military? More countries? 2t is not enough.

If problem not solved by 2 days, i'll leave it. Probably just dereg country and play something else.

But one last thing we could do: I could direct trade electric power to your country, that HAS to work else its time to write cross letters to the GM, and then you could sell that electric to your corps to get them going again.

Hmmm, now I notice on rechecking that although all your corps are short of some product, though it seems wrong with a 108/10 buy strat, they are not all short of electric but other things in different corps.

I'm convinced its an automatic buying setting that is wrong somewhere.

I'm out of clues and not having access to your account I cant help further.

I will see if corporations change in 1 or 2 days.

Also, if supplies get ordered at the 'wrong trade strategy', then they could sit there not buying for a very long time.

Check Corporations > retract (or cancel) material orders, then you could select, and retract some or all offers. If so, it essentially 're-starts' the ordering process. That would take a few world months to get going, though.

In the meantime, you can use your country to buy supplies (Trade > products in stock > [use immediate orders]), then use Trade > Local Trading with own corporations > sell [choose product], and sell supplies to your State corporations for the short-term.

The problem is likely related to a problem I was having. All my state corps were experiencing frequent shortages. I was informed by someone that free members are set to order at best price, meaning their trade strategies are ignored and best price ordering leads to frequent shortages.

If you offer to purchase at 108% and the market is in short supply, you do not get the product.
Production goes to 0%

Others offer at 112% or higher and do get it.
for some products, there are many immediate orders. They pay more but get the materials.
production is at 100%.

you should figure out for yourself what is better for your corporations. cheap raw materials and 0% production or more expensive raw materials and 100% production.

do you want us to give you a 100% production guarantee with cheap raw materials and an excellent price for your products 100% of the time?

there are not enough materials on the market to give you such a guarantee.

I checked the mail we have sent to tom&Jerry.
it just explained what to do, as explained again here.

I'm sure that what you are saying is 100% right Andy and in Tom & Jerrys case and I'm sure you have checked it and it appears that way but at order strategies of 95% market initially, rising by 8 monthly, I very very rarely have shortages of anything in my corps. T&J is ordering at 108%, I have checked all I can in his country/corps and he wasn't/isn't getting supplies with that strategy. What is different from my corporations? You can see he has changed his strat to 118% buying but still has shortages. Is what soldier says about free/new accounts buying only at market price right? Maybe this is what is nerfing him, although I still get delivery at 95% of market...

Sorry for butting in, I know this is not really my business, but I have spent quite some time trying to sort this problem out for this player.

Andy theres such massive shortages that even if they set there prices higher theres still 100M of units that are waiting for others. The markets make to little we need production increases

GM has said they are limiting shortages where it might totally screw the market.
