Wenders, I know you well enough to know you would be the first to tell someone to put up or die if they tried to dictate who you could and couldnt fight, what products you must and mustn't buy or produce, or try to force you into anything, so why the effort at showing support?

King Lord Lee, and President wendy both understand that they are equal partners in the governing of the world of Little Upsilon. The basic motive is to teach nations to stay in the game.

I'm not sure what you're up to, but you haven't stopped trying to bait Hezekiah into something he is not asking for, which is war.

And we wonders why war levels are here to stay.

I know that the NLUO can not dictate anything to me or anyone who is a member. This is not what the NLUO is trying to do. So CC you actually confirm that this is not the sinister end-game of any part of NLUO with your statement. You know I'm not ever going to go for anyone dictating how I do anything in the game.

The NLUO is not about control, it is about Joint governance by active players on LU. I'm really not sure why you are so hell-bent on giving King's effort such a bad rap.

I CHOSE to be a member of NLUO, not because they will dictate anything to me, but because this is the kind of interaction and backdrop this game needs to move forward and back into the days of old where people did something in the game instead of bitch and moan all over the forums to no end.

That is why I joined. Because I want to be proactive in building this game up. To be truthful CC, this game isn't going to grow itself.

Last I checked KB and the Protectorate have been long dead. Cooperation on many different levels is the way forward for simcountry.

Wendy, you must have read what hezzies lot say about warring. They want you to go through this process and that process, and there are other ridiculous econ demands as well. See, I at least read it, I'm not baiting H. So are you going to jump through these hoops? If they decide you cant war, then what? These are their rules Wendy, they are there in black and white, there's no avenue to spin out of it.

I dont think you should encourage this govt idea for those very reasons, you wont be able to play in their rules.

I like that people try to get the game warmed up, Kiss tries real hard, I try by helping all the time, you keep the forum lively, serp...josias...and many I havent mentioned.

Hezz is too, agreed, but his method of demanding peoples co-operation is a shade too pale. I, like you, will play my way, I will not have NLUO telling me what I can and cant do, and I still demand a public apology for using my name in vain in his little list of seargents or whatever they all are.

So there is my piece, big bad bully N.korea of sim is saying to nluo, keep your pokey little nose out of my business. Funnily enough I dont sing 'lonely' any more, this whole evil rising on LU with its communistic whisperings of 'we are here to help, you are all equal and we will protect you, just sign your freedoms away here...' has given me and a few others some entertainment and maybe a bit more for a few weeks to come. So the plan is working, it's something to talk about. Shame is, like you, I've been here some years now, and just like other events we have witnessed, this too will fade into sim obscurity.

I reckon a world government is bad. For new players to be successful there needs to be multiple competitive federations recruiting simultaneously so that there is an actual need to recruit: getting ahead in player numbers and military might. To believe that NLUO can unite and secure LU is looney, because there will always be players who will do their own thing and cause chaos.
