The Little Upsilon Legislature

I would have to say well said Kiss, although I have agreed to cut down on the threads.

I'm just gonna have to kill them all....it's that plain and simple. *sighs as I flip through my calendar book

I think I can fit this killing into my schedule some time after the first of the year. *Pencils it in for Jan. 15, 2013. Hopefully I won't lose my calendar book before then and forget!! I am gettin' on up in years. ha ha ha ha ha I forget things *looks sheepish

lol

Hah! caught you out I reckon Lorelei. Bet you dont have a 2013 calendar yet to pencil anything in. 8P

I am almost done with the site everyone. As soon as I am done, I will send out messages of your seats, and how to use your power. Then we can start using it to move LU forward. Just give me a couple more weeks to finish. Please, if you have any resolutions you want to bring forth, please do so. We can still run the government even if it is not fully operational. The Executive Branch is done. The Security Council is done. Just need to finish the Committee Joint Chiefs of Staff of Regional Federations, The Little Upsilon International Court, and the Committee of Common Market Members & Founders. Once it is finished, then we can use it better to see if any tweaking is needed. I only have a little less than 20 LU Years left as Secretary General. I hope I can finish before the federation elections, and the Executive Elections, which are in less than 20 LU years.

ha ha ha ha I dun even balance my check book, much less organize my life, Crafters. ha ha ha ha

The Legislature is complete!!!

Woohoo!! Way to go, Hezzy! I really like you, even if my political opinion puts us at odds on the debate floor :P

Filling up Fast I see.

Is it ok to have a single president represent more than a single Seat? I think that would give the council some imbalance, right? Or was it meant to be this way?

If it was, I am okay with it, but if a new player arises in a region where a president occupies more than one seat then the new player should be the representative as a default.

Thoughts anyone?

I can agree with that, but it would have to be brought as a resolution, and passed.

I need to edit that post because I didn't even put all the seats As I came back and seen it. Anyways these multiple seats are due to the fact that the empires of these nations inhabit more than one region. This was really set in place as a way to gain political power, and how nations handle it, but you have a seat wendy, bring it up for a proposal.

Here is how you set up a proposal. You go to the federation page on the site. Then you find your seat, press the Joint Chief of Staff Proposal button, and post the proposal. Set it up as COJCSR00001 The XYZ Act, and put the body of the propsal, and submit it. It will then be picked up by the Majority leader, and brought to the floor for debate, and passage. The Secretary of State approves it into law, and the Secretary General puts the final approval, and it is law.

i wonder how presidents that have been over a month inactive, signed up for this?

Orbiter. If you just go and learn how it works you would understand. Why don't you join Orbiter, and fill some of these empty seats.

nah, i'd rather not, i remember what happened last time...

but perhaps you can explain how an inactive president signed up for your thing?

Well, it could be players like me, Josias, who don't really go into their country/ies for more than a month, but have a voice, per se. So maybe newer players?

yes. At the general assembly. Any nation can call a general assembly, also if you live on LU your representative for your region can get the things you want done completed for you. All nations have a voice either through their federation, common market, regional Joint Chief, or they can call a general assembly. You must live on LU because this is only an LU world government. It is not an intergalatic alliance.

orbiter, the whole thing is this. If you want to have some sort of politics on LU besides complaining about the game masters, join this government. What I know now is that time is what wins the war, not how many guns you got.

Little Upsilon Global Government Structure

Executive Branch: The Executive Administration
Secretary General, Secretaries of State, Justice, Treasury, and LU Security. http://nluo.webs.com/the-nluo-administration

Legislative Branch: Federation chairmen whose federations control each region are on the Committee of 85 Joint Chiefs of Staff, The LU Security Council; which has 15 members, but 8 in the NLUO, and Founders of Common Markets are on the Committee of Common Markets, which has 85 Members as well.

Judicial Branch: LU International Court which has a chief justice, and 4 associate justices, the Attorney General, which is the Secretary of Justice and the Public Defenser's Office, which is the Secretary of LU Security. The Security Council also acts as part of the Judicial Branch as well.

Let it be known that on December 11, 3070, the Little Upsilon World government was completed, and staffed for now and hereafter!!!!

@ HEZZY
Quote: "What I know now is that time is what wins the war, not how many guns you got."

Hezzy!!!! Noooooooooooooooo Shoes are what win the war!!! :P Sowwy, had to um throw a lil sim shoe humor in there!

its not the type of person that interacts at all outside of their own stuff. so, while this is person is inactive, how did they sign up for your government?

i guess another way to put it, is why are you lying saying people are involved, when clearly they where never available to join?

I am not lying about anything. First of all you do not know how the gov even works, and if you did understand how the government worked, you would not be accusing me of lying about anything.

Why do you even care anyways if you're are not even interested. Your hating of the LU world government is just making its legitimacy more widely known.

@ KIss, We need a shoe here at 9 O'clock @ orbiter. LOL
