Something has gone seriously wrong.... Tommi Please read.. (Fearless Blue)

I've been running through a bunch of money recently. I was doing things where I noticed this over the last week or two, but couldn't confirm it because of course I was spending money. I thought orders turning immediate was fixed?

I just paid off all the debt in this and sever al other countries over the last proly month and no matter what they continue to rack up debt in the reillions. I thought I was going crazy but this just confirms it. While I was purchasing products with several different countries trying to space trade I noticed 1 trillion in spending space was actually 2 or 3 trillion. Again I thought I was crazy. I space traded and continued sinking countless trillion back into these countries.

Tonight just confirmed it. I had every country paid off as of last night b/c I want to do a GC exchange. Check this morning after the 8 hour window. And a single country has 7 trillion in debt. I purchased nothing. I am only repairing Nephele and exchanging workers. I stopped doing anything because I noticed no matter how much I was space trading, my direct account has been dwindling, which shouldn't be happening after I sell the products and pull the cash out of the world I was selling from.

I just saw that this was fixed. The country on FB, muuney Bags - country orders have turned immediate for everything. I have orders for 0 quantity of x product and just burning a hole in my direct account. I'm positive I've lost a significant amount of money on this just didn't notice until today for sure.

Just wanted to let you know about the error quickly, rather than post in problems. Which gets no attention for some reason. And maybe some kind of compensation possibly. This wasn't just a trillion or two.

My Direct Trade log is posted and my country order log is posted as well.

Also my country is showing +1 trillion for weapons and ammo purchased but I don't recall ordering anything. Or it was an old sitting order that suddenly went immediate. Not sure. Hope you guys can tell whats going on. I broke my head all last night trying to figure out some video crap and then on my CEO again. My brain is fried. I'd love to pin point everything for yous to make it easy but I'm seriously about cry over this game.

we recommend that you inspect your purchase orders daily

Your not alone Wendy, I've been trying to get attention to the immediate order problem for a while now. Obviously it will cane your money having stuff bought at 2.5 or 3 X market price.

I would like to see a buying strategy for country consumed products so I could offer xxx % increased by x % a month, for automatically ordered products. Just like we have for corps.

It is unfathomable for me to have burned through 120 TRillion while space trading for about briefly which is profitable. My account should be growing. I just kept paying the debts down. I did purchase some coins once or twice but maybe only once in this span from Aug 1st.

I believe I'm having the same problem with my ceo's. I order 100 quality FMU's for a fixed price with no percentage increase. Looking at my ceo income and cash balance the math doesn't work.

Been noticing this problem for a few months now. Lately it seems excessive.

Perhaps the purchases are being executed at 3x market price.(Or even worse)

I had/have the same problem in one of my countries. I think it might be based off the new change on country loans. My country had 7T in debt and would not purchase any products. When I paid the debt off, immediate orders for everything up to and including dog food and tampons went in.

I'm hoping that once the orders get caught up, the problem goes away.

Moral of the story (in my case anyway) is to keep the debt out of my countries.

This may not be the case in your situation, but sounds similar.

The gamesmaster has replied to me that if you have a defeceit of any product an order will be issued at immediate straight away. I'm experimenting with setting the trade strategy to have a minimum of 2 and 3 months in stock. This is going to cost as orders will be big for a while, but hopefully will negate the immediate order thing.

Same issue here.

Quite funny.
I wonder why you did not put a message here when you made all this money in the first place.
it seems that if you make a lot of money it is OK and when you are losing it, you start crying.
What about the exchange rate?
Your Trillions value is 10 x what it used to be.
Even 30 x what it used to be some years ago.
The GM is stupid. They should have cut all money in the game by a factor of 10, prices too, everything and cut the rate by 10x at once.
no winners no losers.
instead, they increased our assets by a factor of 10 and get some tears too.
Lady, as always, you talk nonsense, non stop.
Actually, why are you here?
6 months ago you promised us to leave.
then, some weeks ago, you promised that your comment was the last one ever and now you keep spreading nonsense.

Romeo, we hear rumours that you are Tommi in the flesh, is this romours? Or just nonsense. I have to say, judging from some emails and your sentiment in your posts, I might be leaning , to the yea, the nays are lacking.

Romeooooboy! Whoever you may or may not be, quit trolling and mind your manners.

This is a valid posting.

Know your imaginary role and hush your mouth. Why after being banned for less than this am I supposed to take this BS from people attacking, personally, after being warned and then banned for not doing so in the first place or the banned place?

So I guess, CC, Smokes, Maestro, and EC all have noticed the same issue, are we all full of nonsense?

I don't have to explain my motives, or my actions to a charade. A ghost, and imagination, a nothing. A nothing behind a different name. I guess you'd be happier if I were stupid, never noticed my money running away and swiped my visa every 30 days just to be silly enough to continue playing at a losing proposition.

I don't know who you are, and I don't care. Come back and address as who you are, and maybe I'll explain myself to you, a nobody, a mirage, a phony, a fake, a mouth from an account sucking the life from the game. Doing nothing but trailing, failing, at this shadow game you, whomever you may or may not be are, in reality.

Bye now, I'd love to hear from a gm.

I spread nonsense, never. You are the one spreading confusion, upon lies, upon confusion, upon, hysteria. Why do you care if I leave or go. I never had the pleasure of having a conflict with you, nor a nuclear beat down for you. If you'd fancy it, I'd give you a chance to quit whining and beat me out of the game, if you could, without whining. I stay, I go, what's it matter to you? You'll never drop the charade and pop your little head out of the rabbit hole and get some fewl!

If you did, I probably wouldn't waste the clicks it would require to make you look silly.

The difference between me and you is night and day in this arena.

I am a simcountry Elite. You are a joke.

I make muuney, you convince yourself I don't.

I am a real player. You are nothing.

A costume to wear when you have something snide to say. I will say it to your face. As myself.

I can see why Laguna wanted you gone, but not just gone, but GONE GONE! Like 3 years ago gone. You're a fake a phony, a pretender. Nonsense. You pretending to be a simcountry player is the nonsense. I'd smak you with a smooth river rock if I ever saw you in the sim-streets. Back to your tank all safe and comfey, till Psycho_Honey comes with those bunker busting bombs make you str8tn up real fast. All tough but you're nothing. You only log in to pray a player like me is gone, so you can think you have a significance.

I am here from the second year of this game and have seen this type of discussions before.
there is always crying and moaning but you are the star.
your comment is about who I am? my comment is about the nonsense you are spreading.
correct word I think: nonsense.
One sided, selfish, egocentric, nonsense.
I told you before, a dancer who cannot dance would complain about the floor.
But what about you leaving? this is not a rumor. This is you, yourself who stated here very clearly that you are leaving. so please please please do it and absolve us from your worthless text.
I now have two countries on FB. Will be ready in a week or so.

Mirage, who cares?

I am the star, and is this the reason for your jealousy.

More people play this game and interact with people like me, and never hear from shadows like you.

My comment is that you are nobody, not even worthy of mention. But you injected yourself and I'm not rude. I've never held my tongue here unless under threat to do otherwise.

If you want a fair one, pick a side, play the game and suit up, chump.

One sided will always be better than two faced , foolish pomp, schizophrenic NOBODY!

An idiot with no platform and purpose would interject where he knows he could never win, just to grab some attention, Feeling needy?

Clarify, what you are doing here. And who gave you permission to think you actually have any standing anywhere to post and call me a liar fool. When are you leaving. You're waste of forum storage space becuase after this, you'll disappear until you grow a second pair, just to get them clipped a second time, boy.

I have countries on LU, where you are. Drop and pop I'm ready to go when you are. Don't insult me with your retarded logic. I play one planet under war levels, you won't ever be smart enough to have me move up there. Duhhhhrrrmy!

Worthless is the trolling you're doing because youu have no game ingenuity of your own. No one cares about you. 97% of the game never even heard nor cared about the RomeoOooomeoemeo account sitting around wasting badnwidth since the second year of the game.

Now if this troll is finished, back to the top. Geek.

Ouch!

Despite what is said here and what follows, be aware that current profits in most countries are extremely high and they make good money. There is no broad decline in any of the worlds (maybe not yet) and specific problems in some types of corporations may occur due to very large shortages in raw materials for these types of corporations.
The averages and the total numbers are OK and most countries are doing good.

This type of discussion has been on the forum many times before. When some players experience a down turn in profits the discussion restarts. But there is no change in the model to cause profits to change into losses.

There are daily routines that deliver us world numbers and totals. Average numbers and profits were at the highest level for a very long time, and stayed there for a long time. Checking many countries and enterprises takes place each day. There are some enterprises with 400B profit per game month and it is not sustainable, mainly because of current product shortages. We also did not hear any complaints about recent very large profits. The situation in beginner's countries is the best ever.

You can see very large shortages on the market in some major products. Much larger shortages than we had before. This means that there are many corporations that are now out of materials and countries with shortages (hence the immediate orders that worsen the situation even more). The corporations cannot work at full capacity and in its turn, it causes many others to reduce or stop production. Such corporations start to make losses and don't pay taxes. Been there done that, many times over.

The solution is to start many corporations producing products that are in short supply. Even that will not solve the problem right away because these too will have hard time getting their raw materials but in time it does help and production will increase.

There are differences between this time and previous times. We have in the past intervened and added some products. A discussion on the forum some time ago convinced us, and we said so much on the forum, to reduce our interventions, meaning, start them later. We had 1-3% interventions in some products now less, 1% and mostly 0%. The moment they kick in is when shortages become more severe. There are some small interventions now.
On the positive side, some products are moved between worlds.

Some of you are holding huge amounts of products in stock. Sell some and resolve some shortages. It helped in similar situations in the past and prices are now high enough.

There are also longer term trends. We would expect that with exchange rates pushing the value of game money much higher and some compensation for it in pricing of products and salaries, it should push all numbers in the game down, both income and cost should become lower.

Romeo, with all due respect, I think you are out of line here. It was a legitimate question asked by a player to the GM. I just shake my head. Sad when you can't even ask a serious and valid question without being attacked/flamed. I find your post disruptive to a player trying to seek game knowledge or understanding on the why's of something.

The same problems, and Crafty has the right solution! And set the strats in each country. But set the time line at 6 months or longer since many items seem to be in short supply. When the item is in short supply it takes much longer to get it. If your country doesn't get before 0 in stock, the next order will be immediate! I am building and buying some corps and maybe enough will help.

Romeo is not Tommi. Romeo has played longer.

Tommi,

Are you saying that enterprises are buying on an immediate order basis?

Or is your answer only referring to country activity?

Regards,

Maestro

when you have automatic ordering of products, orders are issued when the stock goes under 2 months.
there are regular orders. If the order is not delivered within several game months it becomes an immediate order.

If you do not get products you need on time, your stock could go negative.
if the stock is negative, automatic orders are issued as immediate orders.

we have more of these now because of very severe shortages.
many are for ammunition. Ammunition is used monthly as part of the army maintenance cost. these are low numbers and orders are small.
there are types of ammunition on short supply and no one is creating these corporations. these orders are just not delivered and as a result, there are many immediate orders sitting around.

this way of ordering products has been part of the ordering procedure from the start. there is no change.
Crafty bumped into it (maybe others too), mailed us and received an answer.

Maestro, the corporations will also order immediate if the shortage is not filled before the stock goes negative. You might have to increase your buy strategy.
Many items are in short supply and the prices rise.

Elephant in the room.

I'm not talking about a country or corporation buying strategy,

I'm talking about a ceo buying 100 quality fmu's in a bulk purchase. Not an automatic purchase but a manual decision on my part. There is no monthly stock requirement for a ceo.

There is no immediate need for a ceo to buy any product.

Are these order now being treated as immediate orders?

Maestro, if you buy manually, then that is not part of your automatic ordering, and thus expempt from the action described above.

So it still leaves my question open for disappearing cash.

Dear Tom Willard,

It is my understanding that FattyMcButterPants, otherwise known as Wendy, has been banned again (yesterday, Sept. 5) for her post(s) in this thread, as well as from game chat. Will you please clarify for me and the others what was the violation? I would like to know what the 'new' rules are for what is and is not allowable in forum and chatroom posts. I think a clear definition would be fair to all your game players, especially in light of all the recent bannings. I, for one, would like to know how the violations process works.

Thanks,
Lorelei
