History of Simcountry

Dear Everyone,

I know that the history of the game of Simcountry is forever stored in the threads of the Forum if you dig deep enough. I would love to see historical accounts of Simcountry - from its beginning to modern day! I was shown a history of LU that was done. It was such a joy for me to go back and read all the past accounts of players, their game expertise, and great federations and competitions of the past. It included names of players and what went on politically in the game.

Is there any place that we have in the game or a website/forum that I don't know about that we have some of these accounts? I think that it would be such a great thing for new players to see and how the entire game works and why it has lasted as long as it has and why players continue to come back!

I know we have had past players do blogs about the game and yes, we had our very own Sim Newspaper! Do these still exist?

I would love to know! What are your thoughts?

I guess there are no takers on this? Is there anyone to share historical events on the game?

Hi WickedLady,

please check this one out, maybe that would help to also solve your problem?

History of Simcountry

I like that idea lord mndz

thanks! much of history is lost already, it is time to stop this process

SimNews have not been working for quite some time. Was it Doublestar who made that?

Hi My lord!

I think this is a marvelous idea! I think it would be great to have for every player/country, its ideology, and a bio of sorts!!

Yes, I do believe it was Doublestar that did the SimNews back in the day, My lord! I remember contributing to it some. :-D

I personally want to be remembered always for:

1. Being fortunate to have Andy as my son
2. Shoes!

The history of LDI is well preserved in the sacred books of the Pinktator.

I am going to write my account of things of my former federation and mates. I hope I remember things correctly and not too harsh on some! lol

please also do not forget to mention when shoes factories were introduced. this was an important milestone.

Hi Lady Jam my wonderful lady, do you have a Federation that i could join, I am thinking of running an army? Thank you.

Hello My Angel! I am a member of LDI, led by John Galt. He is the leader of the war effort for our federation.

Yes, my lord, that is an important milestone! One of the greatest in my opinion!!!

You can also go to the simcountry wiki on Fandom. It lists info on the five worlds and has a page on some countries. There is quite a bit of history and information there.

Yeah, I used to run Simcountry World News (SCWN), but that was years ago. I've just rejoined the game, so maybe I can start that back up again.

I know the last time I played, there was a ton of history being made. :D

I know this one time billions of simpeople were accidentally killed and the servers crashed.

Accidentally? That is already a historic interpretation🙂🙂

Sometimes the greatest lulz come from happy little accidents.
