W3C - A New Simcountry.com page

The main landing page of Simcountry will be changed in the coming days.
It is the first complete rewrite in many years.

The change is part of significant effort to rewrite large parts of the simcountry user interface.
we are trying to modernize the page design and create more attractive pages.

The Forum part is already done (some features will be added) and
our graphs were rewritten.

We are now moving to introduce changes to the pages players see when they
first approach the site.

we will measure the performance of the new pages and compare to the existing ones.
mainly measure the performance with first time visitors.

What we install is a first version.
we will listen to comments and will improve quickly.
The new pages are also showing on small screens with mobile devices.
we will try to make Simcountry functional on all mobile devices.

The planned upgrade will also include a next release of the Forum software.
It will allow easy integration of pictures as part of messages.

The forum will continue to improve.
Following updates, probably once a week, will include:

- Avatars
- Improved last day and last month pages, listing messages per subject and ordered by the dates these messages were placed.

We will keep listening to your comments.

All these changes will evolve into a new version of Simcountry.
The way it is implemented allows for faster development and everything that is created is immediately also available for use on mobile devices.

thanks that is interesting and exciting.
