SFO- The States of the Fraternal Order (White Giant)

Hello all. I have an announcement regarding SFO:

SFO is still alive and kicking and will be recruiting soon on both WG and FB. Those candidates interested in a peaceful coexistence and are willing to work with others for the security of our great federation are encouraged to come try us out. The commonmarket is still quite active and their are still a few of us that are willing to help out the newer players and teach them them basics.

As you all know, Laguna has lent his support to the salvation of SFO even though he is quite active in other federations. He is a valuable asset and friend and I wish to thank him publicly for coming on board. He is wise and a friend to many. His involvement with SFO does not interfere with his other federations' business'. I'm sure it is a struggle and possible tension with his other feds and I want to thank them as well for the understanding as he helps us get back to normal.

SFO has a rich history. Wildeyes has asked me to do a historic chronograph of our federation for the WIKI. I will start work on that soon. We formed from a band of friends that were of mixed federations at first and we became known as one. But as time went by some of our brothers left the game or moved on to happier hunting grounds. These players will always be remembered and exalted.

Many of our brothers joined up with Allied Forces. I still call them close friends and allies. I would personally defend any of them to the death if need be. An official alliance is being worked on currently between our two great federations and will be up for their vote as soon as possible. We look forward to working with them.

We also have plans to approach WGC in respect to an official alliance. We have worked well in the past with them and they are honorable. I look forward to working with Jo, Dale and Sir Hossfly and the others.

SFO is a peaceful federation and is committed to work at all times to find solutions to avert wars that might involve us that we feel are unnecessary. We reserve the right to our own National Security at the same time. Rarely does this conflict with other federations. If at any point an issue arises, steps will be taken to avoid unnecessary hostilities if at all possible. I consider all of Simcountry our family and treat them as such. All we ask is the same. We are loyal to our friends at all times and will remain that way forever.

I hope this brings renewed interest in players to repopulate White Giant to the levels it once had. Our main goal and purpose is to foster a fun, safe, educational, and above all, friendly environment for our federation members so that they can grow with this game as it continuously evolves. And with the peace that I believe that can be achieved by garnering alliances, I believe this type of environment I speak of, can be achieved by all of us as players and not just as federation members.

If you would like to take part in something special and that is worthy of the effort, please feel free to speak with me at anytime. Just about everyone knows how and where to reach me. If you are new and curious as to who I am and what my moral code is like, ask around. No one will lie for me. At least I hope not. I'm a straight shooter and I respect other straight shooters.

As I said WG will be recruiting soon. Stand by for upcoming announcements.

Fearless Blue is TEMPORARILY being handled by DavePat. He has decided to at least stick around long enough to help me keep things together there. He has plans to move on soon though. The time he is giving me is as a personal favor, and I gratefully thank him for delaying his departure. It is a sacrifice I won't forget DP. SFO FB until further notice is under the full control of DavePat. He makes all calls and decisions without my input. Have faith in his direction until he notifies you of his replacement. He is presently looking to find a good veteran that is willing to recruit good leaders and teachers for the next generation of players to take leadership roles on FB. Eventually when DP goes, we will wish him well and still value his friendship and sacrifice to SFO. He will always be a valuable ally to us.Thanks again DP.

As for the other worlds, we will remain in hibernation until further notice. If interest is sparked for SFO on KB, LU, or GR and enough valued members want representation there, we will do our best to serve you. This won't be easy by any means getting things back on track, but with dedication, loyalty, and personal sacrifice anything can be accomplished.

As you all know I have gone indy. That does not mean I forget my friends. I have also left WG, at least for now. WG was my first world. It is where I learned this game. Heck I am still learning it after all this time. Sfo has a long history going back to its PPW days. I will be adding some things to Treasure so the history is correct and especially the history on FB. Sfo did not start out PPW on FB, it began as the Cassandra Union. Soon I will post an announcement concerning FB and will cover that history there as well as other important things.

A Fed is only as good as the people in it, and the word of those people, especially the leadership. As most of you know or ought to, I have repeatedly declined the leadership of these feds. I have acted only in the interests of the feds I belonged to - and yes this has made me enemies. To them all I can say is I did what I felt was the right thing to do at the time, if you dont understand that - its your problem not mine. If the roles had been reversed I can only hope all of you had acted in the same manner.

Well for now God Bless and Liberty.

I was wondering where "sfo" came from

SFO will continue to have the full support of the Western Fed on FB. We have high hopes to see SFO revitalized and return to its might here. Watching many of the players who's names i have followed since the birth of my first country walking into the sunset. Though the fed has long remained very quite. Our fed remains with SFO Interest on the mind.

Madhatter,
It is good to see you brother. I haven't talked to you in ages and I hope to see you in chat sometime so I can give you my msn addy. I am very pleased to hear you are keeping up with things on FB in SFO's name. Come to chat so we can exchange some ideas brother.

I am pleased to announce that negotiations between Allied Forces and SFO have been fruitful. SFO now has a defensive alliance with our brothers in AF. The goal is to help the security of each fed on WG and for mutual protection from attacks. This is currently in effect on WG.

Pertaining to FB, SFO and AF have joined forces and is now known as SFOAF with officers from each federation in control. This is only in effect on FB. The goal is also to secure both feds' legacies.

Currently there are no plans for other worlds.

SFO is currently accepting recruits on WG. Please contact me in game or in chat for details. SFOAF is accepting new members on FB. Contact Madhatter on FB for details.

SFO now has a Recruitment Officer on White Giant. His name is Zipper AKA Zypher. He can be reached by messaging his country which is named "Economy 1".

We welcome new players that have a willingness to learn and work with others to achieve a common goal. We are peaceful and use diplomacy when possible to achieve these goals. We ask that new recruits be full members or plan on becoming one soon. We also ask that you be active in the game. No disappearing for 3 weeks and coming back to find your empire gone and asking why. Inactive players are prime targets for all veteran players.

I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the family.

I sent Zipper a message in WG.

fredson.

SFO was started as a drunken bet between Dave and I that turned into a bunch of people Federating and things..Then some stuff happened and then for a while nothing really happened. Then Dave wrote a Constitution with many descriptive terms and ten dollar words. I liked it. Then some more stuff happened. Then Saber created a website..I liked it as well...Then some other stuff happened and I absconded to LU with the SFO Christmas Party Fund.....The End.

The Official History of The States of the Fraternal Order.

I wondered where those funds went. What about the children Sam? The poor, poor, children. You are hereby named the Grinch who stole Christmas.

I don't like idiots...but I am very helpful with people truly interested in eco. And Dave and Treas are both extremely good at it. I also enjoy having a federation that is officially neutral....we are more about eco than war....so if you want to nuke people indiscriminately, this is not the fed for you. If you want to make money and hold strategic stock or fix your countries eco, we have lots of fun OCD people here.

Oh...and lots and lots of deactivated ammo...lol

I endorse this federation.

Great people make Great federations. *Tips his cap to Klarina in nostalgia.

Klarina- surfer chick at-large.

Indeed, Klarina needs to stop by and pay a visit.

All interested parties should message me at country 'Veritas et Aequitas' if wishing to join SFO. As has been stated, we have a core of players willing to help and share our knowledge.

There are things more important to this game than war.
