Goldern Horde (Fearless Blue) | Monday, August 11, 2008 - 12:17 pm Having a very long country name prevents others viewing your country. So it seems. Maybe it is some other bug, but some players are using this to their advantage. |
WildEyes (Fearless Blue) | Monday, August 11, 2008 - 06:25 pm Been emailed to the GMs. They know. It has been used on other worlds already before you found out about it. I actually emailed the GMs personally, and JohnR also brought it up in a Jozi chat. They said they would be fixing it at the end of the month. Check your game news. |
Yankee (Fearless Blue) | Monday, August 11, 2008 - 08:09 pm You need to make a claim for losses due to this game exploit and I'm sure they'll make good. Just be nice and point out you where drug into a conflict with no ability to fight. W3 in my experience has been more than fair in instances like this. And while rare, there is a history of players using a known game exploit having some, if not all of thier countries removed or placed in some type of lock. |
WildEyes (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, August 12, 2008 - 12:03 am Except that he wasn't dragged into a conflict with no ability to fight. It was HIM and HIS fed that decided it would be a good idea to declare on me. |
Goldern Horde (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 01:55 am Wildeyes you seem very touchy...and seem to have a very short memory. |
Quetzalcoatl God of War (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 02:48 am 103 war decs from assorted asshats make you touchy.... Quit confusing Yankee with facts! He has spoken! |
John R | Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - 06:47 pm It has been fixed. It only took this long to fix, because they were on vacations. |
Stuart Taylor (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - 09:42 pm Mr. Laguna - can you ask about war protection please? People are coming out of it and sneak attacking, then going straight back in. Surely sneak attacks should be scrapped now anyway - even 3rd world RL countries can see where a attack has come from - so why cant we without having to look at every country within 5000km? |
Cujo Havez (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, September 28, 2008 - 11:11 pm Perhaps identification of a sneak attacker should depend on your defense. I.e. more radar planes would raise the chance of identification of the assailant. Or perhaps if the attack fails or is completely repelled by the garrison, the name of the attacker is revealed. |
