cafecafegames | Tuesday, July 16, 2024 - 07:40 pm At the corpchangeprod page there is a noticeable sign that reads: Please note the following before you rebuild the corporation's assembly line: 1. the cost of this conversion is 1 Gold Coin, 2. all products in stock (supplies and production) are destroyed but ..., 3. the corporation receives some initial supplies to start production of the new product, 4. all upgrade levels (quality and efficiency) are preserved, 5. cash and loans remain unchanged. The 3rd line is not true. I just moved a Wind Farm into Wind Turbines and started empty. |
auditor | Tuesday, July 16, 2024 - 09:21 pm Yeah unfortunately that's another on of the outdated tooltips that hasn't been changed since Andy made a game change, there's many tooltips out there like that giving false information. It was reported a short while ago that opening new corps was a way to gain a small stockpile of some of the resources only available on the premium TA world. A very small and honestly pretty insignificant amount, but Andy felt the best solution for that was for new corps or changed corps to start with no supplies. I'm sorry for your loss. |
cafecafegames | Tuesday, July 16, 2024 - 10:02 pm Well, it seems better to add that restriction for the specific resource instead. I mean is just an IF statement against the player experience of those keeping the game alive. |
James Folsom | Wednesday, July 17, 2024 - 01:37 am If I have the patience, I usually get the supplies out before closing or changing. And honestly, It wouldn't have been all that hard to find some time in the last decade to make it so that the supplies are auto placed into your country stock. |
