hi_from_ca | Friday, February 23, 2024 - 10:52 pm I logged in this afternoon to discover that my health index was declared too high, so the system destroyed 260 hospitals taking me from 5294 down to 5034. That's over .5 Trillion dollars in assets destroyed, and about 750,000 workers laid off with no notice or compensation. 7 of the hospitals destroyed were less than 1 game month old. |
Andy | Thursday, February 29, 2024 - 10:05 pm There is a max number of hospitals, or in other words, a max level for the health index. A health index in the thousands does not make sense. when there are more hospitals than the max number, some are removed. |
hi_from_ca | Friday, March 1, 2024 - 09:22 pm The level was nowhere close to "in the thousands". It was approaching 300, which was barely enough to keep population growing. There was no warning, no preventing me from buying them, no "news" about it happening, nothing. Just a half a trillion dollars worth of assets destroyed. As noted, the game let me buy some of them the game month before, then destroyed them. |
Eeeee OOOooo | Friday, March 1, 2024 - 10:18 pm What automation settings do you have turned on? |
hi_from_ca | Monday, March 4, 2024 - 02:12 am It has nothing to do with automation settings, they were manually and intentionally purchased. |
Eeeee OOOooo | Monday, March 4, 2024 - 05:49 am I found your country. I had no idea if you were new or not or what world you were on since I do not play on KB. Automation does impact countries in a variety of ways, especially if certain settings are on. You are trying to build hospitals beyond the maximum. You cannot go over a 300 index. You are already over 292. The game will not allow you stay there. Countries do not continue to grow at large sizes. Your country is extremely large at 157 million population and will soon begin to require manual population purchases or continuing pop transfers from slave states to retain its size. |
Andy | Sunday, March 24, 2024 - 05:42 pm Automation, when set on, will build hospitals if your index is under 70 or 80. It will not close hospitals. If the index goes over 300, some hospitals might be closed. There should be a warning. I will check and if there is a problem, I will have the warning restored. |
