World: Fearless Blue
Country: FB La Perlamo

Military Unit Type: Navy Fleets
Military Unit name: O NFP 006 to O NFP 013

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Strategic Carrier Group with 736 Navy Figthers ONLY
2. Update the created mil unit and set new target levels: Navy Fighters = 1083
3. Save changes

Afterwards, you need to wait a minimum of 2-3 real life days until the military unit is updated with 1083 navy fighters.

Another scenario:
1. Once your navy fleet has 1083 (aka. it was updated/replenished), perform an attack anywhere that gives you some navy fighters lost

Afterwards, it seems to take a minimum of 1-2 real life day until navy fleet is replenished.

In all situations, I made 100% sure that I have enough of everything (supply ships, gasoline, military supplies, navy fighters, navy fighter missiles and enough Supply Fleets units available).

Hi,

Assuming you do indeed have everything you need.
How long should it take.
where is the navy
what is the distance to the navy and where are the supply ships.

I have no idea about the size of your navy, how many supply ships are needed, can it be done with a single transport or do they need to go back and forth and of course, is the country at war or not.

please give me some answers and i will have it looked into.

I do not remember any question about this for a long time and we did not revisit the code for a long time.

Hi Andy, I

As far as I checked, yes, I had everything, every single resource needed.
Navy and Supply Ships were right next to the country Navy base. They were created and right after I updated it values.
Country was not at war.
Navy size was about 20 navy ships (15 permament + 5 created to do that NFP thing).
Navy Supply Group is permanent on 50 ships.

About the "back and forth" sentence. I check Supply Fleets way too often and the ships were not moving at all. I can understand and be patient if they are replenishing the navy fleets slowly. My point is that were was no movement at all.

Constructive debugging feedback

You can of course try to debug a specific scenario, live or under very specific cirscuntances. But it make it looks like , like if they were all edge cases.
On the other hand, you can also do the usual follow steps to reproduce on local debugging, and I would be very surprised if you get a different behavior than mine on scenarios like this one. I have emailed you another live specific scenario related to supply units and replenishment hoping you have time to debug it live as you proposed before the scenario is gone in some days.

Also, taking into account (please don't take it wrong) that the average response time is +10 days, it is difficult to work on your proposed strategy with very detailed scenarios because by the time you could reply, the scenario is in most cases gone.
Please consider debugging locally when given steps to reproduce and the reporter is not Aries or any other familiar name :). Or if it is not that, can we work on another mutual debugging strategy different that current one?

Thank you, have a nice day
Regards

The entire supply system works in very different ways if the country is in war or it is not in war.

In war, supply units are always active.
if not in war, many times units are only supplied when they are called on.

are you in war?

Andy it would be good to be able to prepare for war by making all units well or over supplied.

I will look into the supply system when a country is not in war.
we do not want to have the supply units move back and forth and do the supplies because there are many many countries and the numbers of moving supply units will be very large.

I will look at supplying units in the month runs, circumventing the supply units, if countries are not at war.

Some players do not purchase ammunitions or supplies to prevent the use of these materials when not in war.

This fires back as units keep using the ammo and the materials and end up with negative numbers that must be compensated for when the units are called for action.
and in extreme cases, units are disbanded.
