Myers | Monday, October 10, 2022 - 05:45 pm The corp needs surplus, and new surplus orders are done automatically. This is OK and working. Issue is that after 9 months waiting to receive the surplus, the corp does not immediate purchase the needed products ending in shortage and reducing productivity percentage down to 0 (zero). I have already tried different strategies, etc and nothing change, these corps ends on shortage. It is not a market surplus issue neither, because same buying strategy for the same corp on the same world BUT on a Country, and it never ends on shortage. It does not happen with the same product neither. It happens with any product. There is an issue with this type of corps only. Side note, I am not new to the game. https://sim04.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorptrade&miCorpNumber=455013 https://sim04.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorptrade&miCorpNumber=4775013 https://sim04.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorptrade&miCorpNumber=3538020 https://sim04.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorptrade&miCorpNumber=4788007 https://sim04.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorptrade&miCorpNumber=4297023 World: Golden Rainbow CEO: GR CEO 002 Thank you Ps1: It happens in all my CEOs with High Tech maintenance corps actually. This one mentioned above is just one example. Ps2: I will manually buy the products in shortage soon , to avoid losing too much money. |
Andy | Tuesday, October 11, 2022 - 12:09 pm There is no difference between any types of corporations in the way they order products. the only diferences can be the result of market situations. please check the market for shortages or surplus of products. in case of large shortages, deliveries can be delayed. Also, if this does not help, please try to better explain the problem. what is "The corp needs surplus". you mean the corporation needs products to be delivered? the text is unclear. |
Myers | Tuesday, October 11, 2022 - 03:02 pm Hello, I apologize for my wording. Corporations need products to be delivered. I can see there is negative surplus for almost all products these corportations need. However, having two "Def Weapons Maintenance" corporations... Corp A owned by a country Corp B owned by a CEO Both on the same world. Both with the same buying strategy. Both requesting products to be delivered at the same time. It ended being the CEO corp that always end in shortage. And if I don't manually 'immediately purchase' those products in shortage, it could past another +30 game months, that these products will never be delivered to these CEO corps. While at the same time, "Def Weapons Maintenance" country corps, are running smoothly |
Andy | Friday, November 4, 2022 - 03:23 pm The trading is ongoing all the time. products are being offered and requested. each product type is traded maybe once an hour. all offers and requests are then sorted by price and quality and then trading/matching takes place. slight differences in quality could make a big different in the queue. I usually offer several percentage points more for products I need and get them quickly. It costs a bit more but it also prevents shortages and production problems and reduces clicking. |
