My defense works better than it should when attacked obliterating everything with near no losses but the same happens when I also go on the offensive. Killed all bases and airports and seemed as if defense got stronger. Even with units with all airplanes 450Q attacking small city defenses and only killed 30 INTs. 1 unit with 300Q sent my unit to Heaven quick. How that happen? My OAAB was attacked by 130 Stealth bombers in which i barely lost 15 units- was supported by 1 INT unit. What ever the problem is prohibits attacks in serious proportion and is just a total buzz kill. _____________________________________________________________________________ Defensive Helio's are seriously Op with the range they have, 16000KM. Fighters doesn't even have that kind of range. Unrealistic much. Who thought Helio's was a good idea to counter missile batteries many KM away with the already DMB in the game. Strategy has left the chat! It's literally no way to advance on to a enemy without losing 100:1 unless their INT quality is near trash. |
Andy | Monday, October 12, 2020 - 09:13 am Not clear to me what the problem is. there were no major changes at all but as we said in the past weeks, the defense will be stronger. slight tuning did take place. please explain exactly what the problem is. "Bomber fighter combo do not work any more" is not very clear as they do work. the range of helicopters is far too long. the reason is that defense helicopters should be able to counter attack the attacker and the attacker may be far. we are looking at this and should probably find a different solution. without this range, some missile could come from a very large distance without any possibility for the defense to do anything about it. All other weapons have more "realistic" ranges. The defense shoots automatically to counter an attack. Each attack weapon should be vulnerable to some sort of response by defensive weapons. We think that we could have used the nuclear defense missiles as a replacement weapon against long range missiles. |
Chadwick Boseman | Monday, October 12, 2020 - 05:07 pm Yeah, I'm just reporting my findings. The cost to fight Int's and Helio's 300Q and up is overbearing on the attacker. ( With 400 - 450Q units not changing outcome ) Same goes for the defending player attacking enemy unit's in his country. INT's obliterates Stealth Bombers ( Their just weaker bombers now ) Will lead to a stalemate. NFP and Cruise Ships are the only thing that works and is what I Will be building in mass numbers. Newer Players or players with few navies will watch their country population and corporations be destroyed with the power to do nothing in retaliation unless they are one of these old players with hundreds of trillions of cash and tons of naval weapons stored.( With spending limits, cash may not change the outcome ) |

Andy | Tuesday, October 13, 2020 - 09:11 am We made another test and killed an interceptor wing quite quickly. it might require a bit more power. One or two additional attacks. Maybe land forces can help. If one of your land force units is very close to the target, (providing intelligence on the target), air force units become more destructive. |
