Will Walker | Thursday, November 7, 2019 - 09:57 pm I run Barwa Services in The Commonwealth of Berlono (Golden Rainbow). It has a salary index of 365. Every other corporation in the country has a Salary Index of 300. Yet my corporation is losing workforce just as fast as all other corporations in the nation (except for one month's hiccup). Should my higher salaries not be bringing workers from other corporations to work for me? |
Will Walker | Friday, November 22, 2019 - 07:46 pm After this happening in several other instances, I have determined that it is linked (somehow) to a nation that was controlled by an idle human player going instead to AI control. My theory is that there's a loss of population when the AI takes over the nation again, probably due to some stat reset? Anyway, over a period of months, all corporations' employment crashes due to shortage of workers. If this is intended, I'll move to suggestions, because obviously lower-paying corporations should be hit harder/first than the top wage-payer in the country. |
Andy | Tuesday, November 26, 2019 - 12:00 pm When a country run by a player becomes a C3 country, birth rates will decline to a lower level as in all C3 countries. It will in time cause a decline in the population back to C3 levels. Independent of this process, corporations in the country with the highest salary levels will be able to have more workers. Workers in a country, gradually move between corporations and go to work for the best salaries. this process does not happen in a single game month but will gradually take place. In an extreme situation when there are no workers available at all, then no workers will move between corporations. This is unusual and will happen if the population is very low, the army very large and other government functions are also in need of many workers. (health, education etc.). |
