Vladian Enache | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 06:52 am this type of corp is making losses even if upgraded to full not buying supplies immediately normal salaries normal taxes and shortage on market is huuuuge. i have plenty of this corps, they make losses, and the product sell price reached hard cap please raise the maximal price of the product, thanks. |
Andy | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 09:05 am These corporations can make a very good profit. are yours upgraded to max? when you check the corporation page, is there any message on shortage of supplies or shortage of workers. If you have a good example of a corporations which is upgraded and no shortages, please give me the name (world, country, corporation). I will look into it. |
Vladian Enache | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 09:32 am country corps can make profit because of the 0 country resources all enterprise corps make profit between -2B and 0 this is the best one i have, makes 0 profit Off Weapons Mainten 003 enterprise EnacheV GR https://sim04.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorp&miCorpNumber=1333008#profit i will move all of them to my future countries but this is not a solution, just a patch |
John Galt | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 12:28 pm I have them in my FB CEO Vandelay Enterprises. They are quite profitable. They also pay an amazing fee to the countries because the gross income is so high. So I had a look at your corp. I have a few suggestions. Set your buying strategy to best price. You are overpaying for materials. Reduce your supply quality to 215, you seem to be set at 220 right now. Increase your salary to 400%. You'll get extra production to make up for the increased salary cost, and you will essentially guarantee 100% hiring all the time. |
Vladian Enache | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 01:36 pm ill try that, thanks p.s. 8B per year profit i wouldnt call amazing :D with all this babysitting, in a perfect year, if the smallest thing goes wrong that corp wouldnt make profit still thinking max price cap is to low for this product definitevly wouldnt be building any more of them, there are other tons of products that makes safer bigger steadier profit |
John Galt | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 02:37 pm I was referring to the fee they pay to the countries as being amazing. 31B in a year is pretty awesome. You should just build them in your own countries as CEO, or make them state owned and the profits will be super high. Profits would be closer to 40 B per year as a state owned because there is no country fee to pay. |
Vladian Enache | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 02:55 pm yes, i will move all of them to my 2nd country, already 1st has to many of my enterprise i set salaries to 400 and will see whats happening |
John Galt | Friday, October 11, 2019 - 03:17 pm Don't forget to change your buying strategy. You are overpaying for all of your materials according to your corp page. |
Vladian Enache | Saturday, October 12, 2019 - 07:48 pm Best price buying doesnt work Supply buying order for many products doesnt get filled even after 6 months on market so i anyway end up buying +30% immediate in the future i will buy my own produced supplies but for now i think 100%+3% works better my country corps use 100+3% for buying and they never go low on supplies enterprise corps set on best price supply buying end up short on supplies most of the time |
Daniel Iceling | Thursday, October 17, 2019 - 11:03 am Best Price works great for me. I just set the low water mark to 40 months. That way, the short term unfilled orders don't cause shutdowns. If your using best price, and having shortages frequently, chances are, your low water mark is too low. Stockpiles are important in Simcountry, to ride out market volatility. John Galt | Thursday, October 17, 2019 - 01:48 pm 100% agree with Daniel. I do the same. I am planning on increasing my low mark even more now because I produce more variety in goods than I used to and I am seeing shortages in some of the products that require weapons for supplies. |
Vladian Enache | Thursday, October 17, 2019 - 02:08 pm you base that on the fact that unfulfilled best price orders that stays a long time lets say 2 years get filled automatically with magical products ? |
John Galt | Thursday, October 17, 2019 - 03:21 pm Most orders in the game are best price. Orders are filled at first come first serve when at best price and no one bidding higher. Over a long enough time frame your orders will be top of list and filled. |
Andy | Monday, October 21, 2019 - 03:34 pm The trading takes place per product. all orders and offers are taken in, sorted by price and date (price including quality factor). It goes from high to low but if the price is high and there is no close match, it will not be processed. market is processed at market price from both sides and there are many transactions. then either supply or demand are all gone and they might be matched against other orders and offers or get stuck. at the end, the market price will go up or down. Then there is a pause and other products are being processed. More orders come in and offers too and later, maybe 30 minutes later, the entire process repeats with the orders and offers remaining from the last run, and including the new ones, coming in since then. In the mean time, countries and corporations are processed and produce many more offers and orders. |
