Asadel Mohamed | Wednesday, May 4, 2016 - 09:49 pm was WG market reset after server replacment or is there some other reason to lack of supplies |
Aries | Wednesday, May 4, 2016 - 11:08 pm Player help is often much quicker than GM help. Without essential data on what your lacking, your country name, whether you have supply units (if this is a military issue), and so on, no player help is possible. |
Asadel Mohamed | Thursday, May 5, 2016 - 02:52 am Seems someone somewhere did something at least chemicals and many other essential materials just dropped below 10B in demand tbh all mats did. will see how it improves overall situation but anyways many thanks Aries |
ruffled_lemur | Thursday, May 5, 2016 - 07:01 am yeah it's impossible to buy certain things on the world market right now |
ruffled_lemur | Friday, May 6, 2016 - 02:51 am Half of my corporations say "shortage" and aren't producing. Chemicals, computers, software, FMU, household products, potassium... can't buy any of these on the market. I'm using a trade strategy of buy supplies at 100% and raise by 5% per month. I also set my corporations to keep 20 months of supplies in stock a while ago and still they're all running out of something. It's funny because chemicals have the worst shortage but my chemical corp can't produce because there's no potassium lol. It's like the great WG depression |
Rodger M | Friday, May 6, 2016 - 06:59 am omg is the game dieing> |
Sheepman | Friday, May 6, 2016 - 11:13 am Jonni posted about hardware problems on WG, im not sure if this is the result of those problems, but after that post and a week later, seems some stuff might be going sour, also im not able to see country owned or unavailable in region map. |
Asadel | Friday, May 6, 2016 - 11:51 am indeed Sheepman at april 30 WG server crashed and yea all countrys in a region are marked as free |
Fuhrer King Panda | Saturday, May 7, 2016 - 09:23 pm Logged in to see my economy is in the toilet. :p No production due to shortages, people fleeing for the hills. Any updates on this? |
Asadel | Saturday, May 7, 2016 - 10:16 pm No response from any GMs as far as i know so we are left to suffer -30k migration lol. Also i wouldn't be surprised if one moment all of the countries on WG would be converted back to c3 because been marked as free |
Jonathan | Saturday, May 7, 2016 - 10:35 pm We seriously need some GM involvement now. Please help us. Most corporations have 0% production, welfare indexes plummeting leading to exodus of pop through migration, lack of supplies causing destruction of infrastructure. Then there is the financial implications for both country and CEOS. |
ruffled_lemur | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 02:00 am almost all of the corps in my country are at 0% I can fix it by going into each corp and changing every supply order to immediate but that's too much work tbh I might have to subscribe and hit level 3 to build my own FMU corps... |
Sheepman | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 02:20 am Lol yeah white giant is in an apocalyptic state atm, really is. |
Al Sadius | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 02:28 am A suggestion - use Immediate orders to restock your corps on the things they're running out of, and set your order quantity higher so it can refill a lot when it does refill. We need corps producing, not sitting idle, if we're ever going to get out from under this without GM intervention. (On a related note, I dabbled in SC a few times many years ago, but I could never make the economy work, and I think something like this was responsible. I really hope newbies aren't being driven away like this like I was) |
Al Sadius | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 03:47 am In the process of clicking eight billion times to restock corps, I discovered a better process. Make the immediate order with your country or enterprise, then sell to own corps. Household products, factory maintenance, services, and software will clear up 80% of the shortages and get your corps producing again, then you can go through the corps that are still short and fill them up with what they need. It uses up spending space, so don't be too aggressive with any given product, but that should be a quick way to get most things producing again. |
evader23 | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 06:24 am As far a I know the problem is not enough building supplies which leads to factory maitaiance shortage which has lead to shortage of everything else |
ruffled_lemur | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 10:49 am on the bright side it's funny to see a deficit of 215 BILLION units of services |
Al Sadius | Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 02:15 pm It seems like there's a few different products that have run out to me. Household products are also used for FM, and also quite short. |
Michael | Monday, May 9, 2016 - 10:05 pm GM's, What is the risk of a server meltdown affecting the other worlds (which thank God) has not happened yet. Want measures are being done to prevent a future breakdown. Thanks for your time. |
