Borg Queen | Friday, September 5, 2014 - 11:44 am On my Social Security Page in Unimatrix 01 it says 'The current salary of a low level workers is 16,178 SC$ per year. With the current percentage of 89 %, the social security payment is 15,126 SC$ per year.' Well, if the Calculation is made like this it's plain wrong. 16178*0,89=14398,42 Those 15126 equal about 93,5%, that's a big difference. |
Orbiter | Friday, September 5, 2014 - 11:55 am not sure, but would the IF/Pensions payout make up the difference? |
Borg Queen | Friday, September 5, 2014 - 12:39 pm *cough*Woho...when I just checked different Numbers I saw something else... Disabled+Retired+Unemployed: 32,747,878 Social Security Payment per Month: 48,251.17M SC$ So if I calculate the Cost per Month per Head: 48,251.17M SC$/32,747,878 = 1473,41 SC$ Let's see what's that per Year: 12*1473,41 SC$ = 17680,92 SC$ So that's what I actually Pay for SS, listed in Profit&Loss, thats even more off of the original 89%. Now I am already above 109% Payment?! Orbiter, you can check my Country, KB, Unimatrix 01, financial status not secret, so as I dont know which numbers you actually mean that interact with SS from IF/Pensions just give it a look if you please and tell me what you conclusion would be. |
Laguna | Saturday, September 6, 2014 - 01:12 am I ran the numbers and the problem is the ill-health pension being paid to people between 55 to 60. It is ten times the amount it should be. |
Borg Queen | Saturday, September 6, 2014 - 03:43 am not in my place, all Age Groups are getting the same amount per head |
Laguna | Saturday, September 6, 2014 - 12:57 pm I'm talking specifically about disability. I ran the numbers again in another country, Lance of Longinus, and in this case the disability pension was ten times higher for those from 35 to 40. Edit: Nevermind. The problem was from a difference in the decimal system. |
Andy | Saturday, September 6, 2014 - 03:31 pm Thanks for your comments. The numbers are confusing. The payments depend on the profits of the investment fund that are partially paid out and added to the social security payments. The problem is that we do not report this in details and as a result, it is hard to figure out. I added this to our plan. we will change the page and report the numbers and exactly where they come from. This is unchanged code for some years. I have no reason to think that there is an error there but once the numbers are reported in more details, we will know. |
Borg Queen | Sunday, September 7, 2014 - 03:46 am Ok Andy, I'll check the numbers as soon as there is a more detailed page, hope that can be realised soon. |
Andy | Tuesday, September 9, 2014 - 11:16 am It will be done very quickly. Too late to make it into the upgrade today, but It will be part of the next upgrade, probably in two weeks. |
Andy | Wednesday, September 24, 2014 - 05:14 pm The pages are updated. it is done yesterday and explained in the game news. Please check. any comments will be welcome, we might need another round. |
