Nicolas Fernandez Ponce | Friday, February 14, 2014 - 12:49 pm Examples. 1. I have 6 Strategic Carrier Group, all of them static cause they have shortage of gasoline/military supplies. However, my country have vast numbers of these two products and 13 Navy Supplies. After 12 game months, they are still in complete shortage and only two of the Navy Supplies have moved since then. The others dont... Wasn't it automatic? While I could have low numbers of Navy Supplies, all current Navy Supplies should be moving and they aren't. 2. This one occurs in Depots, where I have enough Aircraft Fuel, Gasoline and Military Supplies + many Supply Units and Mobile Supply Units. Everything is set so these supply units could be moving everytime automatic... but they aren't. I'm having a couple military units with shortage too and all the supply and mobile supply units stationed. I checked their logs and they did nothing in many game months. Again, in both cases, I have huge reserves of Gasoline/Aircraft Fuel/Military Supplies. PS: Depot have these products as well as I have moved them with Cargo Shuttles. Thanks. |
Andy | Saturday, February 15, 2014 - 01:59 pm We will check this. We have tested before, and so not problems but the navy part is of course recent. |
craigwilliamson79 | Sunday, February 16, 2014 - 08:37 am I had the exact same problem in the lead up and early part of the war with the original poster. I had all the supplies needed in vast quantities but sea supply wans't doing anything. |
Andy | Tuesday, February 18, 2014 - 01:22 pm We have checked. The distance to the navy units was very large and it takes the supply ships a very long time to get the supplies to the navy. We think that this is OK. you should not reach a navy at 12.000 miles distance too quickly. ( As the British well know from the Falkland war.) the solution is to raise the supply levels in the navy units and make sure they have plenty of supplies to start with. It will also trigger navy supply units at an earlier stage and they will bring enough supplies to maintain this higher level. We mailed back and forth and as a result, the time it takes air transport at that distance was also looked into. This was too long (1.5 hours). We have doubled the speed of air transport units. The change will be installed tomorrow with the next update. |
