maclean | Thursday, January 31, 2013 - 04:10 pm Either I am being hacked, or there are gremlins loose in the code, or something else fishy. As a couple of examples, my countries on LU (Lotus Blossom, Spanish Fly, et al.)suddenly went from 80-90 B/month to -10B/month, FOR NO REASON! There were no changes in supply, no quakes, nothing. Then the LU fairy simply miracled their a$$es back up where they belonged. However, I am out a couple Trillion total, and I don't know when it might happen again, as it is random, arbitrary, and causeless. I am NOT amused. On KB, I have a country that suddenly, arbitrarily, and without cause, stopped training teachers and university teachers. Just stopped, as if the training levels didnt exist. That triggered massive shutdowns of schools, and the thing is, IT KEEPS REFUSING TO TRAIN TEACHERS. I have set the levels ridiculously high, to no effect. No settings in this country had changed for the past 200 game years. I know by now what causes worker shortages, and there ain't any cause for this one. Everyone keep an eye on all indexes of all your countries, because now we will never know which worker group may be hit by the fairy of death, or when your economies will suddenly tank without warning or reason. |
Andy | Thursday, January 31, 2013 - 04:35 pm I just check Lotus Blossom It has a profit of around 100B per game month! this is up from about 70B per game month several days ago. Check the graphs. whats up? give me a specific problem and please check before you put it here. There is no reason for any decline in profit except for market related pricing and values. It is fluctuating but your is souring. |
maclean | Friday, February 1, 2013 - 02:56 pm I checked the graphs. This is from several days ago, so the graphs don't show it any more. Since I don't know what caused this, I can't give you a specific problem, now, can I? Check with Crafty for an exact date, I sent him a message about this. AS I SAID, the problem was miraculously corrected, after the economy had been in free-fall for several days. I am not lying, I just can't prove it to you because the graphs only go back a few days, and I didn't think to try to download and or print graphs for forensic evedence. I am used to a sour economy and its effects. They do not, as far as I know, cause immediate, severe, and fortnight-long plunges into negative territory from 80-100 B /month to negative 10 or 20/month. |
