Philip | Sunday, January 20, 2013 - 01:37 pm I bought 2 sets of soldiers and 2 sets of officers. My plan was to make 2 mobile attack battalions. I tranfered them to my country but when I went to make the units most of them were gone. I think they may have been used in my regular divisions? This may be a bug watch out, I reccomend you don't transfer any soldiers or officers to your country until Andy takes a look. Andy can you check into this for me please? Thanks..I also posted in the "General" section. |
Andy | Sunday, January 20, 2013 - 02:44 pm Putting a message in one place is sufficient. this is not a bug at all. You can build the mobile units and the professionals will be called back and used in the mobile units. This is done to prevent the professionals you have purchased from sitting there doing nothing so they are used in the regular army to replace workers. When you need them in mobile units, these units get the priority and the professionals will be used in the mobile units. also, one "set" of officers and one "set" of professional soldiers will be sufficient for several mobile units. The numbers needed for mobile units is much smaller. you can find the exact numbers in the document describing mobile units. |
Jiang Hu Warrior | Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - 01:10 am Andy/robocop/any other GM there is indeed a problem, as so far we have encountered, or maybe its just for us, no problem with creating these mobile units, but we cannot move them period into a space center, i keep getting a "you have no mobile units products you can exchange with the space center"(name of a space center)" message!, even though i have created a mobile unit its been like this since the last update from the 15th january 2013. the world is fearless blue, the country is little mousqueton (dont know if its related but you can also move navel products between countries/space centers, before the update YOU COULDN'T! |
SweetPea | Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - 03:56 am oh so sweet... I'm hoping that was intentional, the naval units part. |
Philip | Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - 01:16 pm Will my pro. soldiers n officers die in my regular divisions? |
James the Fair | Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - 02:43 pm Unfortunately yes they will Philip, a lot of my pro soldiers and officers have, only a couple of hundred though and thats just for the sake of my regular C3 warring. |
Andy | Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - 05:43 pm We will look into it ASAP. I will answer here later today or early tomorrow. |
Andy | Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - 07:55 pm Please check again. I just moved mobile units to a space center. before, I couldn't. I spoke to an engineer but I can't reach him now. Obviously something was wrong and he fixed it. |
Philip | Friday, February 1, 2013 - 04:29 pm I would like my GC's returned for the soldiers and officers I bought please, Thanks, Phil |
Andy | Sunday, February 3, 2013 - 12:22 pm Professional soldiers and officers are used for mobile units even if they were stationed for the time being, in regular units. This is explained in the documentation. one condition is, that you need to have them. If you have a problem, we need to know in which country you have them. As far as we can see now, you have fought wars recently and there are many dead and wounded and many continue to die. you may have lost your professionals in one of these wars. In any case, we need exact data to find out. just to be sure this is clear: If your country has professional soldiers and officers and these professionals are not serving in any mobile unit, they are available for mobile units. This is explained in the documentation. As long as they are not used in mobile units, they are available to the army and used in other units but ALWAYS available when you construct mobile units. Please read the documentation. |
Philip | Sunday, February 3, 2013 - 01:32 pm Yes I am absolutely sure that they have died as I have had many wars since I bought them for use in Connecticut. I certainly wouldnt have bought them if it was clear they would die in my regular units. Please refund my GC's and explain why my previous 2 postings under this heading were deleted. |
Andy | Monday, February 4, 2013 - 02:07 pm The DOCUMENTATION is very clear about how it works and the documentation clearly explains what happens to professional soldiers and officers when they are not used in mobile units. We remove messages that are using bad language, lies and offensive text. Simcountry is very clear about what can be or cannot be published here. after removing several messages, and the player continues to publish such messages, we remove the player from the forum. |
Philip | Monday, February 4, 2013 - 02:31 pm Also what date was the clearly stated documentation released before or after I spent GC's on the troops. |
Crafty | Monday, February 4, 2013 - 04:24 pm Philip, word in your shell like... You will get banned from the forum pretty soon. You should hush. If you have a legit complaint, email the gamemaster. |
Philip | Monday, February 4, 2013 - 08:55 pm I's ok I won't be playing much longer anyway.... A paying customer doesn't need to be (talked to) (treated) like that..and I certainly won't buy any more pro troops...whats the big deal 28 gold coins...obviously I didn't understand the rules about the pro troops... But thanks Crafty |
Andy | Tuesday, February 5, 2013 - 10:31 am We have no problem making corrections and giving back gold coins even if the problem was no in the game. It happened before. It is just the way you do it. you could have mailed us at some point and explain and you could indeed read the documentation a bit earlier. It explicitly explains what happens to the professionals that are there and not used in mobile units. Instead, it became a blame game, with unfortunately unreasonable accusations. |

It explicitly explains what happens to the professionals that are there and not used in mobile units. > At what point exactly are you refering too? I was explaining here in the posts that were deleted? I still haven't found the documentation, I will ask again, where do you find the documentation for Pro S n O's? Instead, it became a blame game, with unfortunately unreasonable accusations. > I never blamed anyone for anything, however read your posts, I never accused anyone of anything, I always said I felt like, you read it as some kind of accusation. The GC's will reappear or they won't.......Thanks for your support, Phil |
