Gaz | Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 01:02 pm I want to report some issues I just had with warring. First of when I air transported my units they got mixed up somehow. I created sepearte divisions for my MRMB's/AAMB's and my HA/HT. When they arrived at there destination they were muddled up with each other. Some of my LRD's have over 2000 weapons in them. The country is (Been Had) on LU. Also the war log wasnt turning over like it used to. Every attack I made I had to refresh the page to see the results. And I had to refresh to see how much the WI was dropping. Another issue im having is with internet explorer not working within some pages of simcountry. For example when I go to setup new units, on the page were you have to select which bases to send them to. I have a blank screen were the map should be. It never used to be like this. It works ok on firefox but I dont like using FF. GM's I hope you's see this soon as I want to move those units out of my country. |
Gaz | Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 01:05 pm On second thoughts, I'll email you's. |
SweetPea | Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 04:08 pm Word of advice Gaz, DL FireFox and love it. I had all sorts of problems with IE and went to FF some years ago and never looked back. I also hear great reviews on Google Chrome from many players. Performance wise GC probably has the best page load result from what I read. I don't mind waiting a few miliseconds longer though so I stick with FF. |
Carthaginian0 | Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 08:33 pm Chrome is the way to go, IMO. Best browser I've ever used. FF is a good second option however. |
Keto | Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 10:10 pm I've had the same problems and a few other problems as Gaz using IE.FF and chrome, so its not a browser issue. This started after the recent game updates. |

Same here. However, not every attack. |
Gaz | Monday, January 14, 2013 - 12:13 pm Now I have another issue. Im in the middle of a war and for some reason I can't attack any longer. I've dropped the WI to 20 something but now when I click the link (fight this war) it's not the normal war page. I just have a bunch of country deatils but no log or wi showing. Nor is there the attack target from a list option. Andy what is going on? |
Gaz | Monday, January 14, 2013 - 01:41 pm Update The war map for that particular country came back online and I was able to finish the war. However the next country I intend on fighting has the same problem. Plus I have my LRD's stuck on the border with no visible targets blocking them. Again what is going on? Are you guys working on the game at the moment? |
Gaz | Monday, January 14, 2013 - 06:29 pm This is annoying me so much. Anyone else having the same problem? |
Crafty | Monday, January 14, 2013 - 10:38 pm Not that it really helps you Gaz, but land units often do get stuck at borders for a while, sometimes quite a long while. I suppose you could try a different browser for the war map display. Couldnt hurt. |
Gaz | Tuesday, January 15, 2013 - 01:21 am I got it wrong Crafty. What I thought was a game issue turned out to be the blackout period. The answer was in the unit logs, were it says there not moving because of the blackout. I got myself all wound up for nothing lol. Oh well atleast I learned something Thanks for your input though. I have been switching between browsers lately. IE when im just on checking up, FF when I want to get things done. |
Andy | Tuesday, January 15, 2013 - 07:16 pm The war log issue is resolved. We have also transported multiple units with one or with two transport units. We saw no problem. I wonder, did you stop a transport and then started again? while looking into it, it seemed that if you stop and start quickly, the one airplane in the air could be mixed up in theory. if this happen again, please mail us and we will look immediately. this was too long ago and the very detailed log was gone. |
Gaz | Tuesday, January 15, 2013 - 07:41 pm Good to hear this is fixed Andy, thank you. No I didn't stop the transport. What I think went wrong was some of my units went inactive due to low cash. Somehow that's messed up the transports and jumbled my units. I'll email if I see it again. Andy I noticed another issue last night. I dont know if you guys picked up on it with your tests today? When a target isn't visible on the map it's not possible to destroy them with LRD'S, due to them been invisible. In this case it was forts I couldn't see. I had to destroy them with my bombers which was very costly. It never used to be like this. When a target wasn't visible you still got the little green target finder to show you where it's at so I can get my LRD's in range. |
