SweetPea | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 12:43 pm I have an active war against "Gaz" in which I ran recon with long range radar planes Several Targets which were undefended - when fired upon garrisons magically appeared and I lost strategic bombers. When I ran recon missions after the failed attacks the targets still show up undefended. I have not emailed the gm because the war just started but I am posting it here so Gaz knows the issue. And who knows I am reporting this error but if he fires while he knows I have a bug then I guess it would speak volumes about him, as he stated in his problem thread at an earlier date titled "War Index." Take note I never fired a single shot during that war. |
SweetPea | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 12:47 pm Here is an example of another recon Deil Deil is a strategic airport in Sinister Position 50.02°N 28.96°E Deil is not damaged. Image No Damage during this mission. The following weapons were detected at Deil: Please note Radar Planes do not detect Airforce Defense capabilities. Deil is not defended. ___________________________________________ Apr 10 3075. Ground- or Airforce attacks 'Deil' strategic airport. Boo Ground- or Airforce placed a nuclear attack on Deil strategic airport. Sinister (the attacked country) reports: No damage to 'Deil' strategic airport is reported. The country used 2 nuclear defense missiles in the defense. The defence was assisted by the units Abarda and Garrison TG1313. Boo (the attacker) reports: The country lost 1 strategic bomber. The attack may have been reduced or eliminated by Anti Missile Missiles. 310 soldiers were killed and 879 were wounded. _______________________________________________ I hope you GMS are reading the problems section. As usual it will be too late trying to email you to fix this. |
Mizore | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 02:00 pm NDB do not appear and have never appeared on the list of weapons when recon-ing garrisons. However, I'm sure you already knew this given your extensive experience nuking other players. I take this post to be rhetorical, but who knows why I reply? :P |
Gaz | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 02:06 pm Everyone knows NDB dont appear on radar so I dont know what your attempting here. Your post above tells you exactly why you lost a start bomber. I has nothing to do with some bug. "The country used 2 nuclear defense missiles in the defense" Granted the lack of recon is annoying but its no reason to stop attacking. If I wanna attack blind that's my choice. It's not an exploit. |
SweetPea | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 02:22 pm It amazes me that both of you are trying to act so noobish in this case. I nuke people and nuke a bunch. When the radar response comes up as blank, it means that no weapons but nuclear defense batteries are present. When a recon target gives you a readout that states the "target is not defended" it means no weapons including nuke batteries are present. Seriously, did I start playing yesterday or what? I'm probably a player that has single handed out nuked all other players nuking their opponents combined in the last 3 or 4 years of gameplay. Be serious, I'll leave this to the GM who I am sure is well aware of what I am talking about. Noobs... |
SweetPea | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 02:25 pm And so much for the 'speaks volumes bit...' I'm just pointing out that this was your standard Gaz, when pointing out bugs in a war. Not that it matters, you can have the few bombers and bombs left in it. I don't even care to transfer them out. I'll get back to you when this is sorted. And it will. |
Gaz | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 02:32 pm Well I think most would agree that a war index stuck at 50 is a little different to no recon? |
Gaz | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 02:41 pm I got it. You want to make excuses for running away. lol I was slow onto that there. |
Gaz | Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 03:09 pm As this little cat and mouse game has played out I have noticed many many issue's that need attention! |
SweetPea | Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 04:32 pm Andy, have we taken notice of this yet. Ok nvm, I'll email it |
