Crafty | Tuesday, October 2, 2012 - 11:01 pm Windsor on FB is losing population at a pop level of 44M. Surely this level of pop, 44M, is still small enough to have natural growth. Its not a really old country, hasnt sold any pop, has a health index of 140. I think this is too low for a country with reasonable health and welfare to be losing population already. |

sbroccoli | Wednesday, October 3, 2012 - 11:48 am But how does the welfare in the neighbour contries look? If one of them is Nirvana, maybe emigration is still an option? |
Crafty | Wednesday, October 3, 2012 - 07:06 pm The migration index is 62 and 1637 emmigrated (immigrated?) last month. My neighbours are all C3s except one which is mine and virtually a duplicate of Windsor. It too loses pop at this level. The game says the number of hospitals required for good quality is 375, I have 560 in that country. So much for the good quality advice. Of course it's not that simple, I have to consider age spread, but the death rate shows a greater rate for the older the people get and the population spread shows greater numbers of young people than old, including the ones of birthing age. Over 60M ish I can understand keeping the population numbers steady should be harder, but at 40 odd million...? Haha, maybe I should close all my high risk corps like mining and chemicals! |
