Andy, as you can see from the quoted below, the university index is not showing as a direct ratio of the number of universities existing to the number needed for 100%.

Universities 134 Number of universities 74 University Education Index 178

This number of universities indicates there should be a university index of about 181.

It has always been the case that, for example, twice the universities required would give you a university index of 200 and so on.

Has this been changed or is there some error in the computation?

This is from Double Top on GR.

Thanks for looking. Crafty.

In fact the same thing seems to have happened with the water treatment index whilst the Health index has taken a rise with no apparent reason, no drop in pop, no hospitals built or special clinics or war hospitals converted.

What would this be related to? I'm thinking maybe the quality of the country water maintenance units and Medical materials/supplies...or even the infrastructure itself...???

What else might it be linked to?

Just checked the formula. it is:
Universities / needed for 100% * 100.
There are no built in delays.

Make sure you did not just changed the population or the number of universities.

Please give me a country name & world.

This was Double top on GR as I posted above previously.

I have since built more education infrastructure to fix this and bring the main ed index back up, so it might be hard to trace, but you can still see it from the appropriate graphs.

PS. No population changes or number of university changes.

The Health index though, has risen on all countries without cause. By no means am I complaining at this, just wondering how this came about with no indication in news or anything.
I'm sure there is a reason, just asking for what that reason is as I cant figure it.

I am sure the change was slight.
The health index is increasing with the number of hospitals.
This is true up to a certain level, then it starts to increase a little slower.

We have concluded that for most players, mainly beginners, this is hard to explain.

The health index change point, where it starts to increase at a lower pace is slightly increased in the past months. I never saw any real change in countries we monitor but you might have a country in that range and it may have increased a bit.
Nobody ever mentioned it before, maybe because it is an increase.

The same in fact happened to the finance index. It went up by more than a tiny bit. No comments from anyone.

Andy, can you pick one of my countries on all worlds and monitor them?

We do not monitor manually. this is time consuming.
we get financial reports from the system partially at random, and partially on specific aspects that might arise as a result of changes in the model and winding down of numbers in general.

Thanks Andy, that makes sense then.

I probably didn't notice an FI increase because all mine are falling badly due to lack of input from me for quite a while!!!
