Richard Plantagenet (White Giant) | Friday, December 30, 2011 - 06:12 pm Is there a problem with the way the Health Index is calculated? Unlike other indices, the score seems to bare little relation to the number of hospitals in the country. All my countries have more than double the number of required hospitals but the index score is generally around 170. Am I missing something? Is there another factor impacting on the health index? |
Crafty (Fearless Blue) | Friday, December 30, 2011 - 07:57 pm Yeah, you're right. Health index doesnt work like the others. Transport and education is a linear function but health needs higher numbers. |
Psycho_Honey (White Giant) | Saturday, December 31, 2011 - 08:02 am The Index is calculated as a weighted average. This is the biggest stump when going for higher game levels. Tip: If you are going for maximum levels for awards and prestige... make sure you are in line for the highest level of health requirements before you start. This will avoid the costly joys of running higher indexes in other areas. Having all those added costs to hold the high indexes can drain you while waiting until you're retired and the health index catching up. |
