I checked the target before attack and it was not defended, but I lost 300 heavy artillery..?

Check for a small heli defence, prolly a forgotten or reinforced def heli squad that is messing with ya. |

All air defense is destroyed, only some land units...
Well, I lost all my heavy artillery on targets with no defense, so that was my first C3 failure, nice. |
