NiAi (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, August 4, 2011 - 05:03 pm I wonder, is it Impossible to sell nuclear submarines at a Spacestation? 1)To be able to keep nuclear subs in a nation, one must have a fleet command 2)Units in fleet command cant be moved to space-center (prolly since the units are counted has being part of a army unit, the fleet). Units newly traded in to a nation hasent been moved/updated to the fleet unit yet, but still cant be moved to a space-center. =There is no way to move a nuclear submarine to the space-center and therefore not moved to a spacestation. Interestingly enough the ammo is stored in the country's universal warehouse and can be moved easily. Recommended fix: make all fleet units (or atleast nuclear submarines) being abled to be moved to a space-center. Or just say that everything BUT nuclear submarines are to be traded in space... |

CorporatePartner (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, August 6, 2011 - 09:37 am ...not sure where the 'rule' is..but no, Nuclear Submarines can't be moved in space or stored in a 'Space Center' ...basically ships can't be stored/moved in space at the current time |
NiAi (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, August 6, 2011 - 09:53 am Hmm. that would effectly mean that W3C intends to make in night-on-impossible for many to buy a nuclear sub. I thought they wanted spacetrade to be the solution when they made a complete and utterly stop for making such corp outside FB.... W3C, any views on this, this is working as intended? |
NiAi (White Giant) | Saturday, August 6, 2011 - 01:48 pm Subs can still be made "locally". Lets keep that way till subs can be packed up on those tiny freighters :P Many things in this game takes a relaxed view on plausibility, so why not also trade ships in spacetrade? |
Billy_Bob_Joe_Bob_Steve (Kebir Blue) | Monday, August 8, 2011 - 03:38 am There's a difference between plausability and impossibility. "Oh, I'm just going to load this 300 foot long, 8,000 ton nuclear submarine onto a shuttle that needs to actually escape the planets atmosphere instead of just falling down and exploding". |
CorporatePartner (Fearless Blue) | Monday, August 8, 2011 - 05:21 am ..well...when NiAi said this:
Quote:...till subs can be packed up on those tiny freighters...
maybe the idea was to separate the pieces, and send in a few trips, as opposed to the entire thing all at once, haha...besides, if you look at the size/weight of other items, like huge bombers, that can be loaded in numerous amounts, it's not "implausible", and definitely not "impossible" to find a way to send ships. |
J. Skullz (Little Upsilon) | Monday, August 8, 2011 - 05:53 am You forgot impractical and inhumane! Won't they drown if you take them out of water for to long? |
