I have a company in my enterprise
when I check on the profit cash and debt page of my enterprise the tax rate shows as 60%
the actual tax I paid was 972.05 on a profit of 1170.85 I understand this is averaging to get the total tax I pay on the year up to 60%
my problem is the country where my company is located is showing its tax rate as 30% on the corporations page and again if I try to put a new company there it tells me the country tax rate is 30%
this happened to me once before and the country owner never even logged on while the tax rate was changing (status always showed active in last month)
if the country tax rate is 30% why am I paying 60%?

sometimes if your financial situation is bad, the game will auto tax higher than the actual tax rate

and to make it even less understandable from the players point of view current month the tax rate is down to 57%
I paid -1,030.64M SC$ in taxes on a profit of 1,198.15M SC$
so even though the tax rate went down the tax I paid went from 83% to 86%

and yes you are right the country is losing money

still it would be nice if at a minimum you could somewhere see numbers that reflect reality

I've noticed this as-well. Only it says the country (my country) tax rate is 15% on my enterprise page. But it says 0% (which is what it should be) on my country page. The corps in question, even though they say 15% tax, have not actually paid any tax???????????????
