Homerdome (Golden Rainbow) | Friday, March 5, 2010 - 09:21 pm I took a C3 recently for learning the art of war on SC, I have noticed something funny and was wondering if anyone else have seen this. When logging into my C3 country some of my forts and counties where moved, not slightly, but alot. Some of my garrisons where de-garrisoned, and 3 of mt 10 LRD's where dismantled. I had enough in stock for all my garrisons and LRD's. I am not the only one that has seen this, and it all happened at the same time(me and 2 other players). It took me alot of work to set this up, and realy ticked me off to see this happen. |
Inanna (Little Upsilon) | Friday, March 5, 2010 - 10:56 pm Yes it happened in my GR main several times, I posted about it, and only LG mentioned something about it possibly being a browser error. But I noticed it only happens during times of declared war. Is that the case with you as well? |
Crossdale (Golden Rainbow) | Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 01:01 am I'm gonna take a guess and say it has to do with the GM's new garrison update, but maybe I am wrong. |
Homerdome (Golden Rainbow) | Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 02:58 am Yes, this happened when I declared war, but didn't see the changes till the next day |
Laguna | Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 03:32 pm I don't know anything about moving targets, unless you bought them. However, if your units and garrisons are dismantling, that's because your weapons are deactivating. So, you either lack men or you're pay them with chickens. Or you just don't have enough bases for all your weapons. |
Homerdome (Golden Rainbow) | Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 10:48 pm ya i thought the same, but these weapons in the LRD's and garrisons went straight to stock and not reserves, i simply just remade them and put up the garrisons again. But what made me mad was that my forts, cities and counties where strategically placed and since war was already dec'ed i couldn't move them back. Just odd, and something the GM needs to look into. |
Laguna | Sunday, March 7, 2010 - 12:39 am I have little idea on how it works, but I believe the game makes no effort to avoid deactivating weapons in units first. Units are simply dismantled when weapons are deactivating, even though there are weapons undeployed in stock. Those targets changing locations sure is odd, though... Personally, I blame Internet Explore. That browser just isn't indicated for playing online. Then again IE isn't indicated for anything. Send an e-mail to the Gamemaster: gamemaster@simcountry.com |
